Gotham is a social game of deduction and deception.

During the day, players nominate one person that they believe is a villain. A vote is taken by the end of the day and the accused gets sent to ARKHAM ASYLUM.

Once night time falls, the villains come out to play!

All villains win when there are more than 50% of Gotham are VILLAINS. For example 4 out of 7, 3 out of 5

CATWOMAN (Selina Kyle): Can communicate with Villains at all times. Can send Batman one message per night anonymously.
JOKER (Jack Napier): Wins by double crossing the VILLAINS with Harley Quinn and his Clown henchman. Wins if he and his two alliance remain at the end of the game). Can communicate with Villains at all times and send a message to Harley Quinn at night.
PENGUIN (Oswald Cobbledick): Can communicate with Villains at all times. Can visit one person per night and find out if they are CRIMEFIGHTERS!
THE RIDDLER (Edward Nigma): Can communicate with Villains at all times.

COMMISSIONER GORDON: (Chief of Police) Visits one person per night and learns their role. Can communicate with Batman via the BATPHONE once after Day 4.
SGT PAT O’HARA: Visits one person per night and learns if they are a member of the ARKHAM ALLIANCE or not.

VIGILANTES

DYNAMIC DUO

ALL CITIZENS OF GOTHAM, INCLUDING vigilantes, WIN WHEN ALL VILLAINS ARE SENT TO ARKHAM ASYLUM

BATMAN (Bruce Wayne): Visits one person per night and protects them if they set their target before the villains, otherwise the target dies but he sends attacker to Arkham.
ROBIN (Dick Grayson): Visits one person per night and gets info on any other people who visit that person.

HEALERS

ALL CITIZENS OF GOTHAM, INCLUDING healers, WIN WHEN ALL VILLAINS ARE SENT TO ARKHAM ASYLUM

SURGEON: Visits one person per night, if that person is attacked they perform surgery saving their life. However, the person visited cannot participate the following day.
NURSE: Visits one person per night, if that person is visited also, their action is void. For example: if visited by a cop, the report comes back as NA, if attacked by a villain they live to tell the tale. Cannot visit the same person two nights in a row.

ROGUES

rogues WIN WHEN all villains are in arkham apart from the joker, OR ARE PROMOTED TO VILLAINS.

HARLEY QUIN (Harleen Quinzel): Can communicate with BoBo if and when she receives the evil clown doll. Appear as innocent when lynched, and Rogue when assassinated.
BoBo the CLOWN: Sends a clown doll to one person per night. If the doll is received by Harley Quin, they are then able to communicate.

GOTHAM CITIZENS

ALL CITIZENS OF GOTHAM, INCLUDING healers, vigilantes and police, WIN WHEN ALL VILLAINS ARE SENT TO ARKHAM ASYLUM

ALFRED MONEYPENNY: Butler to Bruce Wayne – Can communicate with Batman
ARMORER: Can nominate one person per night to have armor and protect them from assassination by villains.
CLAIR VOYANTE: Can nominate a citizen previously sent to ARKHAM ASYLUM and conduct a “psychological reading” asking three YES or NO questions.
THE JOURNALIST: Visits two people per day and learns whether they are aligned
THE LOCKSMITH: Visits one person per night and changes the locks so that person cannot leave their house that night.
THE MAGICIAN: Visits two people each day and creates a portal to opposite doors. If someone visits one person, they are teleported to the opposite door… like magic!
MAYOR LEIBEMANN: Has two votes per day. A public vote and a secret vote.
THE INTERCEPTOR: May nominate one citizen per night and intercept their correspondence.
