Each district partnership will have use of a telephone for ONE call throughout the game.
The Arena
The arena is made up of a 4 x 4 grid map where the numbers run down the left margin and letters across the top margin.
Different tiles hold different treasures, or different hazards, and may also bring you into contact with other Tributes whom you must then battle.
It is up to each tribute to keep tabs on where they are and what is where on the grid.
Keeping Healthy
You will begin the game with 30 Health Points (30HP).
Your Health (HP) will drop every time you lose a battle by the amount of points you lost in the Battle.
If you lose a battle by 2pts you lose 2HP, if you lose a battle by 12pts you lose 12HP.
The winner of the battle does NOT lose any Health.
Once you lose Health (HP) you cannot gain it back, so win those battles! When you run out of health (HP), you will be declared to have died in battle.
Sheriff John Behan spent another morning questioning business owners regarding the recent stage coach robbery. On his hit list this morning:
Ed Schieffelin, mining company owner
Frank McLaury ranch owner and cattle farmer and;
Harry Head, a cowboy at the Clanton ranch.
Ed Schieffelin declared his intention to assist authorities in apprehending the perpetrators of the crime stating “this type of criminal activity is a blight on the whole territory. We should declare all that we know to assist authorities and not live in fear “.
Frank McLaury insisted that “on the morning of the robbery I was at home tending to my cattle. ” Knowing the kind of record McLaury has, he assumed he meant “other” peoples cattle.
The last enquiry was held at the Grand Hotel where Harry Head from Contention City, was found in room 13. He was questioned of his business in town stating that he was here to “find his fortune”. He insisted that he was not involved in the stagecoach robbery, but “had heard talk of Ike Clanton and Wyatt Earp discussing a stage coach robbery the week before at the Grand Hotel”. Further questioning, found that Head spent the day prospecting in the Iron Falls Area with 3 other people. Those being Jim Crane, Bill Leonard and Luther King.
Sheriff Behan has received a tip off regarding the presence of “The Kid” in Tombstone.
The bank robber, gunfighter and murderer has been identified in town after being in hiding for over a week. There is a $5000 bounty offered for their capture or proof of death.
Anonymous tip offs can be submitted to the Sheriff. Rewards will be without question.
TOMBSTONE – Sad news this morning as we can reveal that a murder has again taken place overnight, this time at Dwelling #11 in Second Street.
The two room dwelling of Madame Emma Parker was the scene of an intrusion and subsequent shooting leading to the death of the of the popular madam from the Oriental Saloon. Also known as Blake, the woman was found with two gun shot wounds to her torso, she died instantly. Townsfollk shall miss her positive service to the town.
TOMBSTONE -Sheriff John Behan announced today that he had brought four men in for questioning regarding the Stagecoach robbery.
Those men are: Harry Head, Bill Leonard, Jim Crane, and Luther King, who were identified by passengers as the perpetrators of the robbery and subsequent death of Bud Philpott and another passenger. The man were charged by Judge Spicer in a hearing yesterday, during which several of them argued stating that they were paid to stage the robbery by Curly Bill Brocius and Frank McLaury.
Marshalls are also interested in speaking with this pair also.
TOWN DUEL – At sunset yesterday evening, two locals sort to settle a score that had befallen upon them regarding the suspicion of being of questionable character and intent.
Using registered weapons supplied by Hart’s gun shop, the two gunfighters Kyle and Allan, drew a crowd as they sought to settle their score. On the Sheriff’s mark of “Fire at will”, a loud distant gunshot rang out through the streets from afar. A sharpshooter s bullet soared through the dusty air and impacted the hand of Kyle, sending his weapon flying. The three shots from Allen’s weapon impacted into Kyle killing him instantly.
Calamity Jane stood silently in the crowd , wondering who the stranger was that made the shot. The body of the man was identified by a single playing card, the Ace of Spades found on his person. RIP
TOMBSTONE FIRE – A fire this morning has destroyed dwelling #12 on Allen Street after smoke and flames were found billowing out of the wood and adobe structure. The body of local man Honest John Montgomery was later found in the charred remains. Montgomery, a nonplaying character in Tombstone, will be remembered as being a decent businessman who didn’t really add much to the game.
TOMBSTONE COURTHOUSE – A motion put forward to the court, by the residential committee of the Third Ward comes into power today meaning the practice for the undertaking of duels shall continue to have weapons controlled by one of the two gunsmiths in town, but also changes in the way that the challenge shall be leveled at the accusers. The person with the most votes shall challenge one of their accusers to a duel.
TOMBSTONE POST OFFICE- The Telegraph had a small hiccup yesterday where town founder Ed Schieffelin had awarded a free telegram to a randomly drawn townsfolk. Unfortunately, the offer was not taken up and so the lottery was run again. This time the telegram was sent and the process declared a success.

DAILY EDITION TOMBSTONE, COCHISE COUNTY
MARCH 23rd 1881
Tombstone – Sherriff John Behan, whilst investigating the attempted robbery of the Wells Fargo coach robbery last week, has stormed a dwelling in Allen Street overnight.
Witnesses stated that “the sheriff and his deputy stormed” the wooden dwelling “searching for evidence and questioning the occupant”.
The male occupant was found to be in possession of a firearm and was charged accordingly. He was questioned at the courthouse by Behan for several hours regarding the attempted Well Fargo stage robbery which saw the death of shotgun rider Bud Philpott and a passenger on March 15.
He stated “I don’t know anything about the robbery” and that he had “an alibi for the morning of the robbery”, where he was at the Grand Hotel where he was employed by the proprietors to tend horses of guests and general yardwork. He stated that he was assisting Ike Clanton in preparing three horses for a trip to Bisbee they were taking that day.”
His statement was confirmed by “Honest” John Montgomery of the OK Corral & Stables, who also employed the young man to tend to livestock and feed lots.
The investigation continues.
Tombstone – Weeks after Justice Wells Spicer signed the city by-laws forbidding weapons in the south east quarter, two men have dueled in the street in front of the City Hall and Courthouse at the intersection of Fremont and Fourth Street. The pair were settling a “disagreement of honor”, witnesses said.
Using registered weapons supplied by Hart’s gun shop, the two gunfighters drew a crowd as they settled their score. Nick drew first with a Western Six-shooter, but was closely followed by shots by James using a Cattleman revolver. Both Nick & James drew and fired in quick succession, in a cloud of gun smoke that filled the street.
With 10 being the maximum points for a shot to the heart, Nick’s three shots scored: 9, 8 and 8, whilst his speed was superior at with a reaction time of 0.41 seconds, James had a reaction time of 0.44 seconds, but great accuracy. With a more accurate weapon and greater success of shots to the torso, James is very accurate! His three shots scoring 9, 10, and 8, the second shot causing a major thoracic puncture and his opponents eventual death.
At the conclusion of the coroner’s inquest, the man’s body was taken to Boothill Graveyard, and buried in his boots and laid to rest with our Lord. The coroner later identifying that the dead man suffered several gunshot wounds as expected and that he was “of questionable character and an outlaw”.
No record of a reward has been posted and his known associates are unknown.

Set in 1881 in the frontier town of Tombstone, Arizona Territory in the middle of Wild West. This is a game of social deduction, strategy and some luck.
This is the story of Wyatt Earp and his brothers Virgil and Morgan, who were US Marshalls of Tombstone. Together they are trying to create a safe, productive town free from the scourge of social issues which threatens the expanding US territories.
Three days ago an unknown cowboy arrived on the daily Arizona Stage & Mail Company stagecoach from Tucson. The suspicious townsfolk are always wary of the new arrivals to the silver mining town. He was last seen at the Oriental Saloon.
Then yesterday afternoon a stranger rode into town from the South East. As per local laws, he forfeited his weapons with the sheriff at the local courthouse on the corner of Fremont & 4th Street before checking into the Silver Nugget Bed & Breakfast.
Then this morning, about 10 miles out of town, several masked men attempted to hold up a Wells Fargo stagecoach that had left Tombstone. The coach was carrying $26,000 dollars and eight passengers. The driver and a passenger were killed. The governor of Arizona has posted a $1000 reward for each of them DEAD or ALIVE!
It is believed the outlaws are in Tombstone and it is in everyone’s best interest to remove them from society.

GAME
Tombstone is AUSOnline Games’ most ambitious game yet. Using the same mechanics as Mafia and Werewolves players are divided by alignments and roles. The principle aim is to identify the bad guys and run them out of town trying to identify and rid the town of the Outlaws. These are four townsfolk with questionable character that are alleged to have held up the stage coach earlier today.
There are three phases of the game: Day, Sunset and Night.
DAY PHASE
The day phase will start at 9PM AEDT each evening and the public discussion will take place in the Tombstone Chat. The Tombstone Epitaph newspaper shall be available which will give information of overnight activities and court proceedings. It will go for 45 minutes. During that time players discuss the game and nominate and vote on who they believe are the Outlaws hiding among them. They submit their votes in the Courthouse Chat. This chat is only for voting and announcements from the hosts. Any people that break those rules, will spend a night in the Tombstone Courthouse Cells located on Fremont & Fourth Streets.
At the end of the day phase the two players with the most votes shall face off in a public duel just before sunset.
SUNSET PHASE
Sunset occurs for 15 minutes at the end of the day before the night phase begins. This is the time of day where townsfolk settle for the day. They begin to close their shops and businesses, they prepare stocks for licensed premises during the night phase and most importantly they settle any scores. Those that are put forward to the courts as being possible outlaws are tried and all cases settled.
Either by duel or by public hanging.
NIGHT PHASE
At the conclusion of the day phase and any subsequent duel, night descends on the silver mining town. A time when townsfolk relax and unwind in the many licensed premises in town. Some drink, some gamble and some choose to go bowling. The Outlaws are also very active visiting dwellings robbing people, stealing cattle and killing. The lawmen are out also trying to maintain peace.
During the night there is to be no talking in Tombstone chat. By chatting you give away your location of where you reside. During night phase, some characters will be active, leaving their dwellings and heading to different locations in the town. All routes are to be communicated to the host in a private chat. All routes must be communicated using references to the town map provided to you.
TOWN OF TOMBSTONE
In this year of our Lord 1881, the township of Tombstone has a population of 7500, excluding all Chinese, Mexicans, women and children residents. At the height of the town’s boom, the official population reached about 10,000, with several thousand more uncounted.
By mid-1881 there were fancy restaurants, Vogan’s Bowling Alley, four churchesโCatholic, Episcopal, Presbyterian, and Methodist โan ice house, public baths, a school, the Schieffelin Hall opera house, two banks, three newspapers, and an ice cream parlor, alongside 110 saloons, 14 gambling halls, several Chinese restaurants, several upscale “Continental” establishments, and many bordellos and brothels.
The mostly young, single, male population spent their hard-earned cash on Allen Street, the major commercial center, open 24 hours a day, with saloons and gambling halls offering the miners and Cowboys their kind of bawdy entertainment. The prostitutes worked the saloons in the southeast quarter of the town, as far as possible from the proper residential section north of Fremont Street
The respectable folks saw traveling theater shows at Schieffelin Hall, and the Bird Cage Theatre.
All players will get a detailed map of the south east quarter of Tombstone including the current dwellings which are occupied. The game is multi layered in which you do not know who lives where.
HOW TO DUEL
In the courthouse chat, the two players with the highest amount of votes shall face off in a duel. Each player shall choose a weapon for their opponent. These weapons have differing qualities in relation to speed, accuracy and the damage inflicted.
The duel will always consist of three shots from each player. The players must each submit three numbers ranging in between 1 and 5 in as quick succession as they can, submitting individually to the chat. Just like a real duel either player can draw first.
These scores will be added to the Tombstone register to determine the players speed, accuracy and damage inflicted.
The results of the duel will be communicated in the evening paper “The Tombstone Epitaph” which is located on Fremont Street.
In this example Bill Hutchison drew first, then Andrew Ritter The Undertaker, responded with 3 quick shots. If the heart was randomly valued at 5, Bill would’ve been 3 inches away when the bullet hit Andrew, but the response of 5 hit Bills heart with high damage followed by two follow up shots. Bill’s bloody body would be lying in the street awaiting the crows to pick at his corpse, meanwhile The Undertaker gets to work with an in flux of business.
Accuracy
Accuracy measures the distance from major organs that the three shots have hit. If the random number generator determines the heart is 1, and the number the player submits is 4, they are 3 inches from the heart and therefore not great accuracy on that shot.
The choice of weapon and its accuracy attribute is also taken into consideration.
Speed
The amount of numbers that the person drawing first submits to the chat before the other can react will determine the reflex speed. If the player who draws first submits three numbers before the 2nd player submits their first, their speed is far superior by 3. If the player reacts and submits one straight after the first number, the reaction speed is classed as 1.
The choice of weapon and its speed attribute is also taken into consideration.
Damage
The amount of damage inflicted on the other player is determined by risk of failure. If you submit numbers at the end of the scale (1 and 5) they are less likely to be accurate based on averages, however if you hit a bullseye the damage is multiplied. The choice of weapon and its damage attribute is also taken into consideration.
Pressure
The player with the most votes has more pressure on them to win the duel and save themselves from becoming a resident of Boothill! Some characters like the stress and perform better, some are natural gunslingers and confident with a weapon.
This factor is also taken into consideration.
Duel Score
A duel score is a confidence multiplier. Roles that have history with a weapon have more experience and confidence with certain weapons.
These factors will all be used to calculate a winner and who dies a painful death in the street.
OUTCOME
Should the duel result conclude with both characters remaining alive the player with the most votes from the townsfolk shall be put TO the gallows and hung from the neck till they are dead. If the public vote was a tie, both characters shall remain in the game, but will not be able to take part in town discussion nor vote for the next day phase, due to their injuries sustained in the gunfight.
WEAPONS
All weapons featured in the game are historically accurate based on records at the time. Each weapon is given characteristics based on these records such as an accuracy rating, speed rating , based on how quickly the mechanism fires the primer and powder as well as the a damage rating inflicted by each weapon and ammunition type.
The choices of weapon are:
The Peacemaker
The Hammersmith
Cattleman
McFarlane
Schofield
Smith & Wesson Rattler
Western Six Shooter
Weapons characteristics shall remain secret until they are chosen in duels. Only then will players be told of their weapon specs. This will also be shown to the gathering crowd of onlookers.
CHARACTERS
Players will be given character profile cards. This is their character for this game. On this card you will learn:
Title
Abilities
Duel Score
Name
Occupation
Alignment
Where they reside
What the character shows as when investigated by another player
What the character is shown as when they lose a duel, are hung or when found dead.

Everything looks normal, but thereโs a growing feeling of something sinister hiding amongst you.
In the settlement ruins, Aldus Heathrow finds an old book with a magic spell. You gather in the village square to debate whether to read it aloud.
It appears that the village relied heavily on family cohesion, not always to the benefit of all involved. The humans saw themselves as hearty pioneers. This, of course, was foolish

Conclusion
The first stories of the box arise at this time. Many books have been written about the box, its supposed origins, whether the stories were true, or some sort of apocryphal myth composed of folklore common to the region at the time. We believe it to have existed and will discuss it proposed origins later
Prep for Game 3
Discussion amongst townfolk had arisen about leadership. Someone who could guide the village. A date was set for an election of a Mayor. But who should they elect?
Monday 24th August is the date for Game 3. The decision of who to elect will be the game’s opening question. Until then you can only discuss it with your family group.
There is little recorded history regarding the werewolves of New England, the village where it all started, and everything that came to pass.
What follows is the best account. Given the spotty records and the high incidence of fatalities, there can be no certainty of full accuracy. We have done our best to seperate fact from speculation.
All the supernatural stories from this time cannot be true. Our conclusion is mass delusion brought on by extreme stress.

Conclusion
The decision to found the village on the ruins of a previous settlement was likely a practical one. This would mean fresh water, hunting grounds, and the use of any remnants of the previous inhabitants. Little was known about the earlier town other than its dramatic and sudden extinction.
We, of course, know the reason for the first town’s destruction and how the new villagers were about to follow the same path. In fact, the villager’s very first decision would prove to have tremendous significance in the years to come …
Prep for Game 2
In the deep woods, you’ve founded your village on the ruins of an old abandoned settlement. The Beinroth Family is convinced that this part of the new world is haunted, possessed, latent with something mysterious.
Everything looks normal, but there’s a growing feeling of something sinister hiding amongst you.
In the settlement ruins, Aldus Heathrow finds an old book with a magic spell. You gather in the village square to debate whether to read it aloud.
Thursday 20th August is the date for Game 2. The decision to read the spell will be the game’s opening question. Until then you can only discuss it in your family groups.
As the remaining townsfolk gathered at Federation Square, it became apparent how dire their situation was. Only seven people were left and no-one knew for sure who were members of the Overcoat Gang, nor how many members of the gang actually remained. Concern was etched on every face as the dayโs events began.
The accusations were immediate. Tara pointed at Calvin. Steven pointed at Jessie. Allan pointed at Richard. Everyone was determined to find those guilty of murdering their friends. The entire crowd was wrapped up in furious conversation, analysing each comment, all aware of how little time was left.
Although Jess and Jessie may have been physically present, their minds were obviously elsewhere. Their wandering gazes and delayed responses made those seeking answers irritated, but for the time being most moved on to other targets for their questions and interrogations.
Suddenly Allan was the topic of conversation. Whilst some insisted nothing seemed amiss with his behaviour, others were sure he had been suspicious from the start. Allan responded to each accusation, insisting he had done nothing wrong, yet half the group refused to listen or be swayed by his response. By the time the sun was lowering in the sky, three townsfolk may have chosen to look elsewhere for a guilty party, but four were determined to see Allan pay for his alleged crimes.
The day turned to dusk and just like that, they pushed Allan to the ground. Two held an arm each, one held his legs, and the fourth person took a capsule from a tin in his pocket. Without speaking or smiling, they grabbed Allanโs head, placed the capsule in his mouth, and forced him to swallow. The cyanide acted immediately, Allan closed his eyes, took several gasps and then he was gone.
Louise had seen the events from her store window, and once everyone had wandered off she called triple 000. Soon after, a thorough investigation into Allanโs true identity was carried out, but there was nothing to be found other than some old felonies. Allan truly was just an ex-con.
Much later that evening, Chopper was at it again. He knew his next victim liked to make dinner reservations, often returning home late at night. So he waited in the shadows under trees in the small park his victim would walk through to get home. He saw them approaching, oblivious to their surroundings, bee-lining for home. He took his opportunity to pounce. He slid out a chain from his pocket, crept up behind, and pulled the chain taut around their neck. Chopper glanced around to ensure they were still alone, then lowered the womanโs limp body to the ground. He looked at her for a moment, grinning to himself, lit a cigarette and walked away into the night.
Early the next morning the body was discovered. Shortly after it was confirmed the body belonged to Jess L., a quiet but well-liked ex-con. Her presence will be missed.
With only a handful of townsfolk remaining, have the Overcoat Gang won? Have town sealed their fate or is there still time for justice? The innocents cannot afford to get the next lynch wrong!
The crowd gathering at Federation Square was a sorry sight. Only 9 members of town remained, and fear was growing that it was too late to stop Chopper. They wandered in, no sign of the previous dayโs excitement, with their heads down and grim expressions on every face.
Once they had all arrived Tara addressed the group. โPerhaps all is not lost? Abbey could have been Margeret in disguise.โ The group looked at each other and shrugged, with Chopper still slaughtering their friends each night this was not a worthy exchange.
โForget about that. We have to find the guilty ones amongst those of us remaining!โ shouted Maatua. Everyone agreed with this statement and conversation ensued. The crowd chirped and chatted, testing different names, scrutinising each otherโs actions, until there were 3 suspects up for questioning: Gemma, Calvin, and Jessie. These 3 were pushed to the front of the crowd so they could answer for their suspicious moves.
After much deliberation, Calvin was returned back to the main group, the suspicion lifted from him for now. He was visibly relieved as he shrank back into the crowd. Now that the townsfolk had narrowed their guilty assumptions down to 2 people, they found it hard to decide. โWe canโt afford to get this wrongโ muttered someone from the crowd, as the sun began to sink lower in the sky.
People debated and swapped theories, Gemma and Jessie pleaded and explained their actions, and the townsfolk powered on throwing question after question at the two women. In the final few minutes of the day, the crowd made their decision – Gemma was the one they deemed guilty. As if it knew what was to come, the sky above shone red, and as the sun threatened to vanish completely, Allan took a gun from his hip and fired a single bullet into Gemmaโs head. โThe train has reached its final stopโ he whispered with a sullen look while looking down at her lifeless body.
The townsfolk wandered off, slowly walking back to their homes where they would caress both their guilt and their sadness. As Louise locked her storefront, she noticed Gemmaโs corpse. She wandered over with keys still in hand and searched Gemmaโs purse. Inside was all of her personal information and IDs and it was confirmed that Gemma was just a poor ex-con.
At 1am, as the townsfolk tossed in their beds, the remaining members of the Overcoat Gang discussed their next moves. โWeโve almost got them beatโ grinned Chopper. โLetโs take out another tonightโ yawned one of the others. They discussed possible targets and the pros and cons of each as the darkness deepened outside. An hour later Chopper stood up, content with their decision, and took a hatchet from his kitchen before strolling to his ute.
A short time later a male member of town was awoken by their dog barking. He rolled out of bed and went to the front door. Through the peephole he could see the outline of a man, but it was too dark to see features. In his sleepy state, he locked the dog in the lounge and opened the door. Before he could say a single word, Chopper forced his way inside, and pushed the man to the ground. Minutes later Chopper returned to his ute covered in blood and drove away.
The next morning the manโs body was found, bloody and bludgeoned, with a hatchet laying beside him. His dental records identified him to be Maatua, a gentle and helpful ex-con who had long put his past behind him. He will be sadly missed.
The dawn of this new day was greeted with excitement by the townsfolk. As the crowd gathered once more there were cheers and hollers all around. Though the group was rapidly dwindling in number, the lynch of a member of Chopperโs posse the day before had left a smile on everyone’s face. As soon as they arrived the accusations began, mostly aimed at Abbey. โItโs obvious you were being coached by Jimmyโ someone shouted at her. She glared back at the crowd. โIโm not a simpleton, you know. I donโt need coaching. Regardless, I am innocent.โ She folded her arms in defiance and stood her ground. They all ignored her and continued to discuss her fate, as if she wasnโt there. โHer and Jimmy were in it together,” they said “we have to take her out next.โ
Maatua made no hesitation. By midday he had his hand tightly locked around Abbeyโs bicep. โIโm not letting you go this timeโ he growled at her. She struggled for a moment but soon subsided. Other members of the crowd looked for heavy objects to throw. โThis oneโs for Jakeโ shouted Calvin as he threw a rock at Abbeyโs head. โAnd this is for Detective Bob!โ screamed Jessie, hurling a beer bottle at Abbeyโs chest, it’s remaining contents splashing over her clothes and across her and Maatuaโs faces. He ran a calloused hand over his face to wipe away the beer dregs not at all perturbed to be included in the beer shower.
The crowd grew louder, the noise drowning out the sounds of the trams trundling through the busy Flinders Street / Spencer’s Street intersection near by. Between angry shouts from the mob and Abbeyโs fatigued screams, the ruckus could be heard blocks away. Objects continued flying through the air aimed at Abbey, anything the townsfolk could find to lob. Eventually, long before sundown, Abbey stopped making any noises at all. Her body had gone limp in Maatuaโs grip and she sank to the stone pavement covered in blood. Maatua knelt down and felt her neck for a pulse. A moment later he stood up, โSheโs dead!โ he proclaimed loudly. Collectively the crowd pumped their fisted arms into the air, raising their arms and voices in triumph.
Having sated their thirst for so-called justice and feeling content with their work for a self proclaimed shortened work day, they all wandered up to the pub for a celebratory drink. One member turned back slightly having thought he’d heard the voice of fallen member Matt muttering something, but Louise put an arm around their waist, turning them around, telling them they were hearing things, ghosts can’t talk to the living.
Unfortunately, they all wouldnโt learn until hours later that they may have been celebrating an unjust murder. The coroner searched Abbeyโs body for ID and found her licence tucked snugly into a pants packet. It simply read โAbbey Tโ, she was an ex-con.
As the moon shone over the Yarra reflecting on its waters, Chopper was restless and like the river was unable to keep still. He continued to mourn the loss of his closest friend and one death in payback didnโt seem like nearly enough to sate his revenge. He looked at the list he had compiled of remaining ex-cons in town. โWho wants a date with me tonight?โ he muttered, chuckling bitterly to himself. After a momentโs deliberation, he took a pen and scribbled out one of the names. โBingoโ he said aloud, as he gathered car keys and walked out the door.
No more than 15-minutes later, a member of the town heard his doorbell ring. He rolled out of bed, slid into a pair of jeans, and stumbled to the door. โHello?โ he mumbled as he opened the door not having bothered to turn on the outdoor light, but before he could utter another word a bullet hit him in the chest forcing him to stumble as the shock of the bullet had him collapsing to the floor. Chopper stepped forward, standing over the body, and shot him twice more, once more in the chest and finally in the head, the insurance shot. Using his booted foot he shoved the body further inside the house before turning and shutting the door behind him as he walked away. โNice gun, Jimmyโ he said with a smile to himself as he slid the silenced handgun back into his coat pocket, got back into his Ford ute and drove away.
The next morning the man was identified as Max W. He had turned over a new leaf since his release from prison and was now just an honest ex-con. Rest in peace young Max.
Will the town be able to find the remainder of the Overcoat Gang or will Chopper win overall? As town numbers continue to dwindle, timing is quickly running out.
The mood at Federation Square was somber, yet charged. People weren’t just upset their friends were gone, they were angry that justice was yet to be served.
As the last few people marched in, cupping their hot drinks, Max cleared his throat. “Some of you think my lack of bold opinions is suspicious, so I have prepared a list of my opinions”. He pulled a folded sheet of paper from his pocket and began reading, listing off members of the town from least suspicious to most suspicious in his eyes. At the very bottom of the list, he read Tara’s name.
People discussed this, happy Max was contributing. Could he be right? Were his accusations justified? Others piped up. “That’s fine, but what about Brianna?”, “She changes her mind at the drop of a hat!”. People wanted blood and many sought to get it from Brianna, but it appeared Brianna was absent.
The crowd moved on to other targets. Abbey was a hot topic. “She’s new around here, but maybe someone is coaching her?”, offered a townsfolk. She was unphased by this. “You’re all wrong” she simply stated.
Conversation circled and circled around Tara, Abbey, and Brianna. Is one of them really part of the Overcoat Gang?
After much debate Tara was removed from the list, at least for the time being. Brianna had still not arrived but this didn’t stop the crowd from throwing accusations her way. Over and over they discussed who could be the culprit. Was it Abbey or Brianna who was guilty?
As dusk set in and the sunlight retreated Brianna suddenly appeared. “I am here and I am innocent!” she bellowed, but no-one wanted to hear it. The townsfolk immediately seized her. She struggled hard, trying to make a run for it. In the mayhem, the crowd moved closer and closer to the Yarra. All of sudden there was a splash as Brianna lost her footing and fell in, along with two others that were holding tightly to her arms.
The two holding her did not let go but the water had made for an unbelievable discovery. In the flurry, Brianna’s long wig had come off to reveal black curly hair, and as the makeup ran down her face it became obvious, she was a he! In fact it was suddenly discovered that Brianna was indeed a member of the Overcoat Gang, none other than Chopper’s right-hand man, Jimmy!
The crowd was shocked but excited. Finally there would be justice. They dragged Jimmy out of the river and down the road to an alley. There, the townsfolk took Jimmy’s life in exchange for all the lives his gang had taken from them so far. Tonight they could sleep a little easier.
Later that night, a distraught and angry Chopper drove the dark streets of Melbourne. He smoked cigarette after cigarette, reminiscing on the friendship he and Jimmy had for so long. With a grimace on his face, he turned a corner. There in front of his car lights was a lone townsperson on their way home. Down this deserted road, all was quiet except for the sound of the footsteps of Chopperโs target and the sound of the car engine.
Chopper looked to the empty passenger seat, “This one’s for you mate”, and then he put his pedal to the floor and steered towards the man. After running him over, he got out with a knife in hand and continued to stab the man 20 times in the chest. Then as a final touch he cut one of the man’s ears off. “Now we match” he chuckled and returned to his car, speeding off into the darkness.
The next morning the man was identified as the friendly Jake. He had served a stint in prison in his younger years, but had made an honest living in Melbourne ever since. This ex-con will be sadly missed. Will more justice be served? Or will Chopper get his revenge on them all?
After the death of two cops, a doctor and two innocent townsfolk, the mood in the city was grim. People wandered into the cobbled forecourt of Federation Square. Some sat on the steps overlooking the Yarra, others gathered in smaller groups, but all talked about the recent deaths and their own parts in the unfortunate peril of so many innocents.
Maatua, one of the more outspoken people, was the first to throw out a vote. He walked up Spencer Street to City Hall and cast a vote against Allan. Murmurs began drifting through the crowd. โWhereโs Allan?โ โIsnโt he usually here by now?โ A local shopkeeper, Louise, heard the voices and shouted to the crowd that he usually rang through his morning order for pickup but she hadnโt heard from him yet today, which was unusual.
Tara quickly jumped onto the Allan bandwagon. Another person within the crowd began to make steam train noises, which had a few people chuckling, breaking the otherwise somber mood. Although there was a rising swell of voice against Allan in his absence, Jake refused to board the train, instead throwing out Stevenโs name. This did not go down well with Steven but there were a number of voices within the crowd who were also beginning to look his way.
After nearly an hour of debate, accusations, and counter-claims, there were several names on the figurative board. Looking suspicious seemed to be the newest fashion with Allan, Max, Steven, Jess and Abbey all having their names bandied about.
Those who had previously been sitting on the steps, some smoking, some drinking, all by now had joined the group, however Allan was still noted by his absence. More names were thrown out with one Melburnian giving a long list of why he was innocent and why eyes should look elsewhere. Max had many people pointing fingers his way, firstly with Michael and then Tara, changing her opinion from Allan and moving to Max instead. Suddenly things were moving very quickly with opinions frequently changing.
Would there be a tie? If Allan were to show up, would he decide the tie breaker? Was Steven part of the Overcoat Gang? What about Max?
Then came an even bolder move! Steven changed his accusations from Jess to Abbey. Jess followed suit, pointing her finger at Abbey also. The crowd was divided. Nearly a third were looking at Steven, with an equal amount at Max and Abbey.
As the sun was getting low in the sky, far behind schedule for his call to Louise but still in time to place his order, Allan came walking into the square and up to the crowd. He was quickly bombarded with people talking to him and at him from all around. What did he think about all this? Who did he think was guilty?
Allan casually sipped his coffee, listening to the voices and conversations, accusations and suppositions and calmly pointed his finger at Abbey. Crushing his now empty coffee cup, he sent it for four points into the nearest rubbish bin, then stood feet apart, arms folded across his chest and glared across the space between the three groups as if daring anyone to move before close of business.
Move they did. Brianna darted away from one group who were holding Abbey by her arms and instead joined those who were surrounding Max. Jake upon seeing this quickly jumped over to take a grip on Abbey.
As the sun set over the Yarra, sending shadows and a chill through the cooling air, the crowd realised that they were at a stalemate. The train had not been derailed, but had in fact ran out of fuel with several carriages split in two. There were as many people restraining Abbey as there were holding onto Max. There were only two people holding Steven’s outstretched arms and as he tugged to get free, they looked at each other and released him.
Abbey and Max were also released with mumbled apologies and offers of a drink at the pub. โNo hard feelings, eh?โ. There would be no justice for town this night. The Overcoat Gang would continue to wreak havoc.
A short time later a car turned onto Spencer Street, the driver eyeing the stragglers of the dispersing crowd as they slowly drove by. Chopper pulled into a parking space and turned off the car. From inside, he watched two figures walk up along the sidewalk, with one waving to the other as they parted ways. One figure turned left into the park and the other walked across the lights toward the Art Gallery. Flicking a cigarette butt out the window, Chopper started the car and drove up and around the corner, the car lights hitting the lone figure walking on the sidewalk through the darkened stretch of road. โGot ya, ya buggerโ he said to himself and he slowed the car to a stop. He jumped out, grabbing the man from behind, gave him a solid whack on the head to knock him out and bundled him into the car. Chopper took off with a grin on his face and a freshly lit cigarette in his mouth.
The next morning the news reported on the body of a man found behind a dumpster in the city. His left arm and right leg had been cut off with a circular saw and been placed behind the torso to prop the man up. There were tire marks near the body but as the laneway was frequently used, there was not enough evidence to go by. The man was later identified as Michael Q, a newer resident of the city. He had a troubled past with a brief stint in prison, but his ex-con background failed to stop him from having become a useful member of society.
The Melburnians marched solemnly to Federation Square. In the previous 36-hours the doctor had been murdered overnight and the man they themselves had killed had been confirmed an officer of the law. Worse still, they were no closer to finding the Overcoat Gang.
This new day began with the crowd baffled. Muttering amongst themselves. Was there hope to be found or was it too late? Discussion continued in muted tones thoughts being voiced and weighing up the possibility of their friends being gang members. Everyone was a suspect.
Then all of sudden someone loudly shouted “Jason! It’s got to be Jason!”. Everyone turned to stare at the accused man. “That’s ridiculous. I’m innocent!” he argued, but the crowd wouldn’t have it. Everyone started to speak louder and louder. By the time the sun had moved from east to west in the sky, a crescendo was reached.
Jason put his wrists out in front of him, resigning to his fate. “You’re all stupid, but do what you will. You’ll see.” he muttered as they tied his wrists and led him away.
After the deed was done, the body of Jason laid still. A woman reached into his pocket to grab his wallet, hoping to find they had finally lynched a member of Chopper’s gang. She rifled through his IDs. Each simply said ‘Jason Hโ. On the back of a photo of his family, there was a note. “I know you once did bad things, but I am proud of your honest life now. I love you.” Jason was an ex-con, a townie if you will, just like those who had accused him and taken his life. Or rather just like most of them, as the notorious Overcoat Gang had once more gone about their business undetected. RIP Jason.
That night Chopper drove to a large home in the suburbs of Melbourne. It was a gorgeous house with an ornate cross hung over the front door. The door was unlocked and Chopper let himself in. An hour later, he slid out of the home and into his car, driving off into the night.
The next morning the body of a man was discovered in the very same home. He lay in the full bathtub, the water now red, with a toaster floating beside him. His thumbs lay in the soap dish on the bath edge, next to an extremely sharp paring knife. He was identified as Matthew C.
The townsfolk are running out of time. Will they be able to find the Overcoat Gang before it’s too late? Or will they each be knocked off, one after another…
Melburnians gathered once again at Federation Square, shocked and appalled at the horror the last 24-hours had brought. A valuable member of the town had been murdered, and it seemed no-one was any closer to catching the Overcoat Gang.
Everyone in the crowd chatted amongst themselves, testing the names of different people, trying to gauge the reactions of those around them. Suddenly a man loudly whistled to get everyoneโs attention. They all turned towards the one who had whistled with some recognising him as Aiden. โI know for a fact Clair is married to Chopper himself!โ he shouted. Gasps and grunts were heard throughout. They all wondered whether it could be true, whether they could trust him. But mainly they wondered how did he know?
Clair, not bothered by the claim, rebutted in a clear voice. โYou are a fool. But if I must be punished for the greater good of the town, so be it!โ.
The crowd stared at the two of them, looking from Aiden to Clair and back again, unsure what to do.
Discussion continued. The murmurs turning into more of a roar, louder and louder, growing more frantic as time passed. Suddenly someone pushed Aiden to the front of the crowd. โExplain yourselfโ they shouted. Aiden sighed and tore off the beard and mustache that were glued to his face. โIt is I, Detective Bob Coad, and I have run a background check on Clair. She is guilty!โ. The crowd rushed at Clair, angry for justice, she let them restrain her.
Just as they were starting to march Clair down to City Hall, someone asked the man what his report had said exactly. โShe is an ex-conโ he said matter-of-factly. Everyone stopped in their tracks, confused before almost as one they all began shouting, “Weโre all ex-cons!โ Perhaps this man was a liar? Perhaps he was a member of the notorious gang!
He fumbled for his badge and held it up in the air. โI am a detective, you canโt lynch me.” But no-one was taking his claims seriously anymore. They released Clair and immediately turned on him.
There were grunts and screeches as the crowd converged around him. A short time later the crowd dispersed. As the town members left for their homes, the body of a man lay on the ground. The badge he had carried for decades was still clasped in his hand. The picture on the ID was identical and the inscription read โCIB Detective Bob โAidenโ Coad, Officer of the Lawโ.
Later that night, Chopper pulled his car up to the curb in front of a beautiful suburban home. It was a large house with bay windows and a blooming garden. He walked upto the front door and lifted his fist to knock, but before he could, the door opened. The man on the otherside was wearing a white coat, he had a small bag in his hand with a plus sign on it, and an identification card clipped to his pocket. He was surprised to see Chopper, but smiled nonetheless. โCan I help you, sir? Iโm just on my way to work.โ Chopper chuckled and shoved the man back into his house, shutting the door behind them. โI think youโre going to be a bit late tonightโ he grinned. Sometime later, Chopper slid back into his car and drove away.
The body of Dr. Rosenthal “Ronan” Gibbs was found in his home the following morning. His stethoscope was wound dangerously tight around his throat, and next to a pair of secateurs his fingers laid separate to his body. Dr. Gibbs was the only Melbournian who was willing to save ex-cons from certain death, and now he was gone. Will the Overcoat Gang reign free? Or will the remaining ex-cons see justice?
In an unrelated case, the body of a beautiful woman named Clair was found in her home this morning. She was an ex-con who had been nothing but a model citizen since her release from prison. She died pain-free from natural causes in her sleep. Rest in Peace.
The day opened with a large gathering of people at Federation Square where Melbournians debated how best to identify the notorious Overcoat Gang. Tara was first to begin pointing a finger, quickly casting a vote for Aiden. Other experienced ex-cons joined in on her finger pointing, casting votes for the same fellow.
Then came a move by Jake, calling Gemma out. But why? Gemma stormed up to Town Hall and brazenly cast her vote. A move against a well-known resident, she cast a vote against Britin. After this came a flurry of votes against some others, with debate centring around the newer ex-cons, Jessie and Steven.
Town chat erupted in raised voices as everyone looked to their neighbour with a mix of scepticism and angst. Members of the Overcoat Gang were hiding in plain sight within the gathered mob, but who were they? Could these new faces be members of the gang, or could more familiar faces truly be hiding their standover nature?!
Votes were spread with Aidenโs name carrying the greater burden, while four others also carried the weight of votes upon their shoulders. Calvin loudly pronounced he preferred not to lynch anyone, not feeling comfortable with a lynching with so little information. Aiden joined in the proclamation of no lynch and each scribed their choice up at City Hall.
Britin had begun to worry of the three votes cast against her, even though Aiden carried double that number. Jake bumped things along by changing his vote for Brit. This caused a bigger stir within Britin. She implored Maatua and Jake to change votes away from the innocent townie. More discussion, even more people seemingly not hearing her words. Jake wasn’t 100% certain whether she was innocent or not.
โAgain, you’re voting for a helpful townie. So you would rather keep Aiden than me, is what you’re saying, you don’t care there’s no difference to you?โ Britin accused.
She could take the uncertainty no longer. Britin stood on a chair and rubbed at her face with a handkerchief to reveal the man underneath. In a loud and clear voice he announced โI am none other than Ernie Trotter!โ He looked down at those around him with disdain. โSo if you guys would unvote me and the doctor could save me tonight, that would be great!โ.
Gasps, exclamations, shocked and laughing faces throughout the crowd! Stunned, just stunned. Was this man telling the truth, or was it another elaborate disguise? The town members continued to discuss in hurried whispers.
Those who believed Ernie turned their attention back to Aiden. Was he a better target? Some rescinded their votes, refusing to cast another against anyone for the remainder of the day. As the sun started to set behind the skyscrapers, a consensus was reached – noone would be lynched today, even the newbies would be spared. Some agreed, others shook their head, and the group dispersed to head home.
Later that night Chopper and Margaret decided to pay a visit to a fellow Melbourian. Margaret stood outside the residence ensuring no one inside could leave. Some time later Chopper came out, his shirt covered in blood. Grinning, he kissed his wife and they drove away together.
The next morning the body of Ernie โBritinโ Trotter was discovered in the living room of his suburban home. He was tied to a chair, with a gunshot wound to chest. His toes were sprawled haphazardly on a rug next to a set of boltcutters. Will the Overcoat Gang be caught before they strike again?

The year is 2236 and humans have been settling other planets for over 200 years now.
On an outlying moon of Saturn, a colonial settlement known as HYPERION is a direct democracy, in which all eligible citizens have direct participation in the decision making of the REPUBLIC parliament.
Trade talks with the neighboring colony on Tethys is imminent, with delegates representing Hyperion being sent on trade missions to discuss resources, particularly our vital supply of water ice.
A small band of rebel Hyperions however, are looking to sabotage the trade talks and undermine the REPUBLIC parliament thus creating THE UPRISING. We need honourable Hyperions to represent the republic and secure the colonies supply of this precious commodity.
We need the best people to ensure the Rebels do not sabotage these trade talks like the last ones! SIGN UP AND FIGHT AGAINST THE UPRISING.
After a 68 day voyage from our homeland, the ship had finally landed at the new colony in Massachusetts. Our small group of families had gathered all their belongings and made its way inland to find a suitable place to settle.
The new world felt strangely familiar, yet foreign all the same. It was the start of a new life, and the excitement and fear were evenly balanced somewhat.
T’was during that trip west, that strange things had occurred. Things that could not be explained. Evil speakings, ramblings and the presence of something not of this world.
“Wherefore laying aside all malice & all guile & hypocrisies & envies & all evil-speakings as new born babies desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow there by, if so be that ye have tasted that the lord is gracious”
Several families spoke of their distinct feeling of evil in the mist, the uneasiness of the sense of being watched, as if hunted by a predator. We all took solace in the fact that the Lord was looking over us.
We have now set up camp, all but 60 miles beyond the hills of the coast, in a wood lined valley with a rocky pond and fields.
The autumnal trees stand naked as expected, but their twigs curl in a distorted way, as if the tree itself is silently screaming in pain. The daytime sky is a mass of grey cloud, again so ordinary for this time of year, but instead of letting small shafts of light through they emit an ethereal glow.
The families have been discussing the strange noises heard overnight. Some say they heard them in the woodland, but others suggest it came from within the camp. We all obviously feel wary of making any wild accusations, but something is not right.

What happened in Episode 1 – The Journey
This will be posted at the conclusion of Episode 1 – The Journey
Should you go out in the woods today, you’re sure for a big surprise!
Introduction
There is little recorded history regarding the werewolves of New England, and the village where it all started, and everything that came to pass.
What follows is the best account. Given the spotty records and the high incidence of fatalities, there can be no certainty of full accuracy. We have done our best to separate fact from speculation.
All the supernatural stories from this time cannot be true. Our conclusion is mass delusion brought on by extreme stress.
What is Werewolves
Werewolf is a game of intrigue and deception. Werewolves have infiltrated a small town in the area of New England turning several of the villagers into Werewolves. The issue is that the members of the village don’t know who has been turned.
Werewolves win by killing villagers to the point where the number of werewolves equals 51% or greater of the remaining players.
The villagers win by killing all of the werewolves who have infiltrated the town
How to play
The game is split into 2 different phases. Day and Night.
During the Day cycle all players may chat in the public town chat. This is your opportunity to suss out your fellow town members and decide who is a werewolf
During the Day you may vote out one person from the town who you believe is a werewolf. To vote out a player you must place a motion to accuse a player. Another player must decide to second the motion to vote for the nominated player.
Example: *** MOTION: I accuse player X. Someone else will then need to *** SECOND: motion against X“
Once a player has had a vote motion placed and seconded against them, all chat must stop immediately. That player will have 60 seconds to defend themselves. Once their defence has been placed all players must vote with either “lynch” or “no lynch”
If the player is Lynched the day ends immediately. All chat must end.
If the player is not lynched the day continues. That player cannot be nominated again that day.
All conversation, motions and voting are carried out within the single main chat.
The Host will be running a timer during the day. The day cycle will go for exactly 10-mins. The timer will be paused during defence and the vote.
The timer will not be advertised and the day will end as soon as timer is up, which may result in nobody being lynched by town.
Night will last for 5 mins. During this time the werewolves will select a player to kill.
After night there will be a 5 min break for people to grab snacks, go toilet etc while host prepares for the next day.
The tension has eased as the presence of Batman on the streets of Gotham has been confirmed. The caped crusader has been actively keeping the streets free from the scourge of tyranny and anarchy.
The identity of the masked vigilante has been speculated for some time, but the citizens of Gotham have rallied to ensure that he is protected and his secret remains.
The Arkham Villains Alliance has been smashed with the Commissioner last night personally leading police raids on The Riddler and apprehending them. At the same time across town the identity of the last remaining true villain The Penguin was confirmed and locked inside his hideout by The Locksmith., thus preventing any more loss of life or patients being sent to Arkham apart from the villainous duo.
Not even the powers gained through the LIBRA project could help the evil masterminds as the solidarity and power of the people took control of the streets of GOTHAM.
The rogue partner of the Joker, Harley Quinn managed to escape the raids and remain undetected however. After the Joker managed to find her disguised within the citizens group she was elevated to the evil alliance. Sensing that the crime fighters were closing in to rapid justice manouvres, she went to ground yesterday preparing her daring escape. Will we ever know the true identity of the mischievous former Arkham psychologist?
UPDATE
Psychological evaluations were handed down to the media this morning regarding the mental state of local citizen Rhiannon. Dragged away by staff from Arkham asylum the citizen went quietly, head held high. Citizens thought they may have been guilty of robin banks, or jewellery stores as a mask was found in their belongings. It is confirmed that Rhiannon was a student and a member of The Flying Graysons circus troupe. She may have had some other extra curricular activities also.
EPILOGUE
Peace has been somewhat restored to GOTHAM for now. While the corruption, manipulation and small time crime continues, the crime syndicates jostle for power on the mean streets.
At Arkham Asylum, with the JOKER, PENGUIN, RIDDLER and CATWOMAN all returned to the maximum security wing, a different struggle begins. All of the other inmates begin their own fight to be top dog. Poison Ivy, Bane, Two-Face and many more are ready to be the king of Arkham but will the Alliance of the newly captured four interrupt this plan?
There was a feeling of cooperation in Gotham today as citizens gathered around in a joint effort to resolve the underlying issues in City Hall. Citizens stood up bravely, proudly announcing their importance to the city, however the lies and deceit continued as people continued to bend the truth. Even those that were though reputable are now under suspicion for misleading the debate.
Several identities continued to refuse to divulge their true identities. Are they undercover crime figures? Are they vigilantes? Is Batman among us?
Just before City Hall closed for the day one person stood out from the crowd. A new person in town who seemed to be protected by the majority but was still lead to Arkham in the back of a psychiatric ambulance.
There was no kicking and screaming. There was no fuss as the vehicle wound its way to the night wing of the hospital.
UPDATE
Psychological evaluations were handed down to the media this morning regarding the mental fitness of local citizen, HARLEN LENO who was found gagged and bound outside the residence of Sgt Pat O’Hara last night. In a stunning twist, new evidence has found that the man was in fact the JOKER. After a call from Batman was received by Commissioner Gordon, it was confirmed that the masked vigilante had in fact confronted the man after he was found to be trying to gain entry to the house. The villainous psychopath was in possession of a hypodermic needle filled with nerve toxin.
In a scuffle with the Caped Crusader, the Joker injected himself with the toxin. Batman confirmed that he secured the Joker for when Police arrive. There are new concerns now after The Joker claimed to have planted a bomb.
“I might blow up a children’s hospital, a pet store or even… Commissioner Gordon’s own front door!” he announced as being lead away, “Ooh that rhymes”
In other news, The Mayor has been missing for over 24 hours now. He had not been seen until a short while ago when an official contacted City Hall stating that he was found in a straightjacket at Arkham Asylum.
“I’m not a grouch”, the shackled man was rambling as he was assisted into the LIBRA rehabilitation unit.
TERROR TONIGHT
A bomb has gone off in Gotham tonight. After The Joker had threatened staff at Arkham this morning that a bomb had been planted somewhere in the city and would be detonated upon his capture.
The threat became real as the blast tore through a local apartment building on Finger Lane. Luckily, only one body has been discovered, that of local reporter Vicky Vale. The first death on our streets for several weeks.
The night of terror did not end there however, as an enigmatic villain was active on the streets of Gotham.
After first publishing a riddle in this mornings paper eluding to the re-emergence of The Riddler, the anarchistic cryptic criminal visited the home of a woman who claimed to be a medium or clairvoyant.
Security footage obtained from the building show the villain pacing around the room, discussing at length the merits of the abilities they may or may not actually possess and delivering a lengthy, yet entertaining monologue.
The medium, assuring the intruder that she had a premonition about a bomb in the Town Square, begged to be heard and taken seriously, however the sceptical Riddler took no notice of the incessant ramblings of someone in “fear and regret”.
“the clairvoyant is a person capable of foreseeing the future thanks to extrasensory esoteric abilities of precognition. ….. yet you did not foresee me paying you a visit tonight. Why you even have a door bell!! Now what may I ask is the use of a doorbell for one so sensitive to future premonitions?”
The prolonged monologue sent the citizen into a frenetic decline into madness, questioning herself and the lies and deceit she had been peddling as a “psychic”.
Terror and fear have gripped the streets of Gotham City! Its citizens fed up!
Fed up with unscrupulous officials, crooked politicians and corrupt police that terrorize the public during daylight whilst at night, psychotic villains and vigilantes roam the streets after curfew.
Arkham Asylum is at near capacity, yet we continue to be exposed to constant violence, terror and intimidation. The Gotham Police Department are engulfed in in-fighting, internal investigations and covering their own tails whilst the evil festers among us.
Town Square today became the site of an angry mob seeking justice. Seeking a hero!
What they got was a bombardment of accusations from those that are just as guilty of creating the fear and panic! Lunacy, chaos and anarchy ruled as local citizen Oscar was repeatedly accused of “not being of sound mind”. The delusional citizen claimed he was the mayor, a medium-sized clairvoyant and an honourable citizen, free from any guilt. Even as he was strapped to a wheeled gurney and led away, the man continued violently thrashing and shouting obscenities at the onlookers.
“You’ll all be sorry!” he shouted
“That’s definitely the rantings of a madman. Are these people on drugs? Are they high or just sick in the brain?” one local citizen asked.
As the curfew came into effect, the weary citizens begged for protection during the night as they returned to their dwellings wondering what the night would bring.
Question is; with Gotham’s dark knight missing in action, will we ever feel safe again?
UPDATE
Psychological evaluations were handed down to the media this morning regarding the mental fitness of local citizen, KEGAN, committed to ARKHAM asylum yesterday at City Hall. The assessment told of how the citizen was at first “inquisitive, friendly and playful”, during the assessment but ” began to display characteristics similar to that of a grimalkin”. “The ears folded backward on the head as it arched its back and became aggressive”. The patient has been held in the high security wing of the hospital and given a large ball of wool for further treatment.
Also, breaking news regarding the woman at the centre of that terrible attack last night where a pint-sized man dressed as a chicken, sprayed her with an unknown gas.
The report into the woman, known only as Ann Rabi, has been handed down this morning identifying her as a local juggler and children’s entertainer “BoBo”. Several dolls and other items were seized from her apartment. It is believed that she was searching for members of a “rogue alliance”.
The woman has been released to Arkham Island under Dr. Justin Ballantine and the “Libra” program, which aims to restore balance to patients lives including experimental transmogrification.
THE JOKER’s WILD
by Alexander Knox
The calling card of the Joker was found last night at the site of yet another attack on the streets of Gotham. Police and paramedics were called to Otisburg last night where local citizen Harlan Leno had been attacked and left bound and gagged.
It is alleged that he had been injected with a non-lethal venom which not only disfigures the face and results in gelastic seizures, (uncontrollable maniacal laughter) but also results in a condition called “Risus Sardonicus“.
As paramedics secured the man, he “kicked and convulsed wildly, shouting obscenities and rambling on about “60 spaces”, “red balloons” and “going insane”, all whilst still laughing, according to neighbour Mrs Verbergen. He was later taken to nearby Arkham Asylum where he will be evaluated later today.
The villainous Joker escaped from the asylum earlier this month, aided by Dr Harleen Quinzel, a former psychologist at Arkham. This is the first sighting of the psychotic villain but will it be the last?
“With Batman missing in action, is it any wonder that the villains are ruling the streets, Injecting citizens with their crazy juice?” That’s what local citizens are asking.
As tensions continue to rise in Gotham, sightings of the elusive winged warrior have been few and far between recently, with several citizens believing he has gone into hiding, has retired or has met with foul play, however Sgt Pat O’Hara suggests that “perhaps he is just busy?”
Mayor Leibemann comes under fire for questionable ethics.
Gotham City’s Arkham Asylum has a long and brutal history, beginning in the early 1900’s when its own architect became mentally unwell and hacked his workers to death with an axe. He was convicted and sentenced to spend the rest of his life in the same asylum he had been building.
Since that time, Arkham has long been a place of terror for the criminally insane. However, it also houses innocent members of society, set-up by corrupt officials to be long forgotten within its padded walls out of “harms way”.
In Gotham City yesterday, a mob of seven unknown people dressed in white coats and masks dragged two citizens, kicking and screaming through the Town Square to City Hall. After the closing, Mayor Julius Leibemann cast a critical eye over both men, assured that they were not of sound mind, with mistruths, elusive answers and erratic behaviour.
Soon after, the waling of sirens echoed through the wet streets, as interns arrived from Arkham. Securing the citizen, known only as Kegan, in shackles and and removing him from society for “psychiatric evaluation” at the mayors behest.
UPDATE
Breaking news regarding the incident last night where a local Medeco citizen was attacked with an unknown yellow gas discharged from an umbrella, the psychiatric evaluation of the man has been handed down this morning. It reveals that the identity of the man targeted by The Penguin, was in fact a local man named Giovanni “John” Zatara. The man was not an associate of any known underworld figures.
Mr Zatara has since been placed into an Arkham Island rehabilitation center under the supervision of Dr. Justin Ballantine, who shall study the the effects of energy transmogrification on psychiatric patients.
PENGUIN OR CHICKEN?
by Vicky Vale
It would seem that Gotham citizen Oswald Copperpot (also known as The Penguin) is tormenting Gotham, one citizen at a time.
Dressed as an over-sized yellow chicken suit, the villain attacked a local citizen just after 10pm last night, on Bleake Island . An off duty nurse saw the event unfold, telling reporters that “the chicken man was parading around like it was Halloween. Next minute this young woman approached smiling and joking with pint sized character before she was attacked”. The unknown woman, thought to be named Ann Rabi, became the second victim in two nights to be sprayed with a yellow gas. Like the previous attack, it instantly transformed the citizen into, what doctors say is a “delusional psychotic state, experiencing violent hallucinations”.
The woman was taken by the off duty Nurse to Arkham Asylum where she will be evaluated today. The report is due to be released tomorrow.
From the bowels of the Gotham City sewers rose one of the city’s most feared villains. With his trademark umbrella and monocle, The Penguin was last seen seen on CCTV, near the Mercy Street Bridge. Several minutes later a man was leaving his apartment on Schlage Lane, Medeco, carrying a bag, when what witnesses say was a “short, rotund man” allegedly sprayed him with an “unknown yellow gas”, before disappearing into a storm water drain.
The resident, known only to GCPD as Michael, seemed to be suffering from “an abnormal condition of the mind”. He became erratic, violent, delusional and then psychotic. He was taken away to ARKHAM ASYLUM for psychiatric evaluation.
An eyewitness who only wanted to be known as Diane, was walking her cat nearby when she saw the terrifying scene. “I cannot believe the brazenness of the man! He just walked up to him and… I thought he was going to stab him with a sword, but he pulled out an umbrella. Next thing you know this yellow haze filled the air around them and he fell to the floor. The little man just walked away and went into the storm drain”
The Penguin escaped from ARKHAM ASYLUM in May last year after a daring breakout of some of this cities most feared criminals, including the Catwoman, The Riddler and the JOKER!
Neither Mayor Leibemann, nor Commissioner Gordon were available for comment although local citizens are wondering “Where is BATMAN?”
The castaways awoke on day two to a nice Sunny day. A early morning yoga session begun with most the tribe taking part. People used this opportunity to clear the air on what was said the day before.
People were still shocked that Dr Melissa had been shocking voted out. But it was survivor so new day and new chance to play.
It quickly became apparent that loudmouth Tara wasn’t feeling the best today. It took awhile to noticed her missing but when they did everyone went ah yeah.
It was a very nice day but the temp did very who you asked while some couldn’t care less about the weather.
Talk quickly turned to tonight’s tribal and the tribe was of one mind. Those who are quiet must go was the message to echo a round camp. Everyone did what they could to appear active.
I’ll be back later. Just going for quick walk echoed around camp. Everyone suspected this was a ploy to go hidden immunity idol hunting.
Brianna was the name on everyone’s lips and her fate was sealed until a deathbed confessional changed people’s mind.
Suddenly there was panic. Who do we vote for. Matt, Britin, Birthday girl Gemma. Nobody knew.
Quickly votes fell onto Oscar in the final moments. But not enough people reacted and we had a tie Oscar and Brianna. Jonathon looked at the group. Clearly you cannot make up your minds. We will try this again tomorrow.
Suddenly pretty boy David stood up with his Fake idol. Surprise guys. This isn’t a fake idol. It’s an elimination idol and I play it on Blake.
In a blink of an eye David was no where to be seen. Where was he hiding.
Jonathon looked at Blake.
The tribe has spoken. Blake’s torch was snuffed out.
The castaways arrived at their campsites. The beach was stunning. Nice white sand. Crystal clear water. The castaways couldn’t believe it.
As soon as Matt was on the beach he made a quick and clear statement. I will be voting for Tara. Tara laughed but some took notice.
As the day progressed there was some discussion at the water well. Brendan was mentioned by some. I’ve heard he is a flipper. He might have pre made alliance. Some were not happy and the votes stacked on.
Cody placed the 5th Brendan vote and it was decided that was a mafia move.
Why did you vote Brendan they asked. Majority rules was the reply. It then came as a surprise when the majority decided to rule, voting for Cody.
As Tribal council began to approach panic began to set in. A few new players had been labeled noobies and felt vulnerable. They banded together to become a strong voting bloc. The bloc decided Tara was the one to go.
Tara was unhappy receiving votes and made sure everyone knew it.
It became apparent that one person was sleeping on the job. Not it wasn’t Brendan. It was none other than Nick C.
Defend yourself they said. I probably won’t was the reply. Seems a good vote to me they said and Jonathon snuffed his torch.
Nick C was a town Mason.
Suddenly there was a commotion and Matt Rogers handed to Jonathon the elimination idol. I play it on Melissa.
Everyone blinked unsure if they had inhaled to much smoke from the fire.
Just like that Matt was gone. Nowhere to be seen.
Well Melissa Jonathon said. The tribe has spoken. And her torch snuffed.
After Shane Gould won Australian Survivor in 2018, and the dominance of the Champion tribe over the course of the season, the Contenders were in uproar. It wasn’t fair, how could this have happened?!
After heavy protesting Jonathan made a huge announcement. The 2019 season of Australian Survivor would be Contenders vs Contenders. There was jubilation and celebrations in all of the major cities. The producers had finally listened to reason.
The 12 contenders of 2018 and the 12 contenders of 2019 were cast to compete for the ultimate prize. The title of sole survivor.
The Champions couldn’t let a contender win and set into action their own plan to still have a 2019 Champion winner. While the season was billed as Contenders vs Contenders, some Champions had joined the castaways in disguise! #ChampionsVContenders

You spin me right round, baby, right round, like a shellac record, baby, right round, round round
Sydney was in a state of shock with the news of Jewls’ innocence.
Citizens approached Town Hall today with the weathered looks of nerves and fatigue. The city carried the weight of loss and paranoia on their hunched backs. A strange and claustrophobic atmosphere was felt by all.
Pressure does funny things to people. While Britin approached the ballot box and submitted her vote against Michelle, she then started walking around the ballot box repeatedly. A few hours later, Kyle voted with her against Michelle, then joined Brit in walking around the ballot box. Michelle was next, this time with a vote against Kyle, and all three were circling around the ballot box.
Grant arrived. He called out to Kyle, who suddenly came to a halt, shook his head as if to gain control of himself again, and found Grant. Grant motioned for Kyle to follow into a small alcove on the western side of Town Hall. As Kyle arrived, he found himself confronted with a dazzling array of abaci. Grant must have brought his whole shop!
Grant: “These are the calculations I’ve been working on to uncover the razor gangs”
Kyle: “I’m not sure I understand
Grant: “Well, this one here is you“
Kyle: “wat”
The following is a graphical depiction of what followed…
…Grant stormed out and made his way straight for the ballot box. Ooooof! He cast his vote against Kyle! Kyle had made his way back by now and gave Grant an uneasy look. They both then resumed a march around the ballot box.
Gemma and Daniel were next and the votes were tied 3 a-piece. They too joined the march of the mob.
The trance-like encircling got larger and larger. By mid afternoon, thousands created an incredible scene that rivalled Mecca. Marching in unison, going round and round and round.
In circles.
All day.
Nobody knew why. Nobody asked why. They just marched.
As the sun set, Melissa, Catherine and Brianna arrived and with them their votes ready, all against Michelle.
The marching suddenly ceased. The people had spoken. Michelle wasn’t escaping again today.
She was dragged to the gallows screaming.
“They have to DIE!”
“Kill them! Wally, I know you can hear me! Get to the end! Avenge my death and leave a bloody bath! Don’t leave them pretty!!!”
“Muahahahaha!”
Yes, Kate Leigh had spoken. Confirmed razor gang overlord, sly grogger and cocaine dealer; Kate had being walking amongst the population appearing as an innocent Sydneysider, under the alias Michelle.
It was a dizzying triumph for the streets of Sydney. A victorious day that will long be remembered!
Throughout the day there was a lot of pressure put onto Brianna and Michelle. Nick K was at the centre of a lot of the questioning. Not that it mattered much when Catherine became the first person voted against by Dan.
It was Michelle’s 35th birthday, and with her and Brianna’s head seemingly on the chopping block, she headed for the ballot box with the mantra of “anyone but me”, and cast her vote against Brianna.
Nick wasn’t going to let both rabbits get away easily and followed swifty with a vote against Michelle. That broke the dam. The votes came thick and fast. The next two on Brianna. Another two on Michelle.
Melissa approached the ballot box, searched the crowd until she found Michelle and the two held eyes for a moment. “Happy birthday”, Melissa taunted, and cast a tie breaking vote against Michelle. Britin and Catherine soon also followed to seal Michelle’s fate. Over half the population had decided Michelle was guilty and that was that. The people of Sydney would soon start dispersing to enjoy a rare, relaxing evening after a busy but clear cut day before the steps of Town Hall.
“That was too easy”, Kyle suggested.
Grant agreed, “We didn’t fight each other, something’s not right”
“The votes stacked on Michelle tidily, but it would make sense if we’ve got this right”, Nick offered.
Jewls walked to the front to face the three men who had driven much of the vote flow today. “You all voted together with confidence, and NOW you’re saying it was too easy? That makes no sense. I’m starting to think there may be ulterior motives at work here”
Kyle, Grant and Nick looked at each other, then in unison started moving toward Jewls at the front of the crowd. They effectively surrounded her. Questions became accusations and suddenly Kyle ran to the ballot box, turning it upside down and emptying all the votes! The crowd audibly stirred. Kyle tore his vote for Michelle into pieces and revoted for Jewls, imploring all to do the same. In a stunning turn of events, Jewls received a flood of votes. The more she protested, the more votes came in against her. She stood up to Kyle, Grant and Nick, but three voices against one became overwhelming. The ballot box was full again and amazingly, Jewls was done for.
“BITE ME!”
Jewls’ last words were aimed at the town that had dogged her and were led like sheep to lynch yet another of their innocent own.
Overnight, the body of one of the day’s biggest influencers, Nick K, was discovered at the entrance of his Woolloomooloo terrace. His white top had been striped with the bright red of his own blood from very deliberate multiple razor wounds that ran across his body. Another coaster from the Devine’s Darlinghurst bar was found on top of Nick’s body. On the back were written two words, “Where’s Wally?”.
The knocking continued, becoming increasingly impatient.
โBloody Mormons”
Grant begrudgingly got out of bed and answered the door.
Nick K, Kyle and Britin stood outside of Grant’s Potts Point store front and abode. They demanded a clear explanation of his abacus workings. Grant informed the group that the store is closed on Saturdays and to come back on Monday, “And by the way, Britin, I need two abaci to calculate your numbers”, and he closed the door.
The trio went their separate ways. Nick K headed straight for Town Hall to cast the first vote of the day again, this time against Brianna. Catherine was next with a vote against Kyle.
A lot of discussion was had amongst the town. Alisha was at the centre of a lot of it and seemingly defending people she had previously been outwardly suspect of. She was pushed for reasoning. She took a deep breath, and climbed the steps of Town Hall and paused, her back still facing the people. As Alisha slowly raised one hand to her head, murmurs died to whispers. Alisha turned to face everyone and removed the wig from her head.
โI am police Commissioner Jim Mitchell. I have been working undercover to investigate a number of suspect citizens. I hereby clear Grant, Kyle and Melissa as innocent townsfolk. I hope this narrows the field in our collective search of criminals. We must end the infighting and unite to make the streets of Sydney safe again.”
An applause went up, and cries of exaltation were heard far and wide! “JIMMY BOOOIIIII!!!!!”
With this revelation, Michael was the name on everybody’s lips, and the votes poured in.
Michael was lynched in front of Jim Mitchell. Michael was the alias of James “Big Jim” Devine, husband of Tilly and killer of Lillian Armfield.
It was a massive win for Sydney! Tomorrow, the streets of our great city will be significantly safer with both Devine’s now pushing daisies.
That afternoon, Jimmy boi celebrated with several enthusiastic admirers at a small bar in Crown Lane, Darlinghurst. It was approaching 6pm, when bars, pubs and bottleo’s must close due to a state wide night booze ban. So the Commissioner thought nothing of it when the building door was shut and the sign turned around to officially close the bar for the day.
As Jim lifted his pint to empty the remains of his last beer, the coaster caught his eye for the first time.
Drink coaster from bar called Love, Lilly Devine, in Darlinghurst, Sydney
Panic shot through his body. The Commissioner rose to his feet in a fuss, in doing so bumped his stool to the floor. As he turned to exit the building, his leg caught on a stool leg and he fell to the ground. His fellow admiring patrons moved as swiftly as he did. Two ran towards the door to block any exit, while three others piled on top of Jim. “We’ve got him!”, one shouted.
In answer, Kate Leigh appeared from a back room of the building smiling at the helpless Commissioner with cold blue eyes. It was the last face Jim Mitchell saw. He had unknowingly been lured into one of the Devine’s former sly grog bars, where he was murdered on a day that he had celebrated as a victory for the city he held so close to his heart.
The trees were filled with sweet birdsong. The blue hues of first light now mixed with pinks and orange. The air was crisp and a light dew covered the winter rye grass.
Suddenly, the birdsong broke into a cacophony of screech and squarks as birds flew from the tree canopies. Beneath the branches walked a lone figure with purpose. It was Nick K. His long strides matched the cadence of his heart beat. He was headed straight for Town Hall to cast his vote against Nick C. The early bird catches the worm!
Brianna was next. Brianna had been quiet as of late and her actions had been questioned. This time she justified her vote against Nick C by citing his vote against fallen policeman, Allan, the previous day. Those ballot papers mysteriously lost.
By now, a crowd was forming again, like clockwork. Gemma and Kyle were singled out next, also like clockwork.
Grant pushed his way forward, turned back towards the crowd and held an abacus above his head. With it, he proclaimed, he would use mathematics to find the razor gangs! Grant bewildered the crowd with an explanation, “The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side“, he started. The people of Sydney stood mouths agape, heads cocked and eyes squinted. When he was done, Grant declared, “And therefore, my vote goes against Lady Britin”.
Grant stood next to the ballot box as the next citizens avoided eye contact as they registered their votes. Votes were lodged for Nick C, Nick C, Kyle, Kyle, Nick C, Nick C, Kyle, Kyle. With each successive vote, Grant first slid one bead, then two beads for the next person, then three and so on. He took notes.
The final vote came late, from Jewls. Nick C’s fate was sealed. He was lynched in the golden light of the setting sun. Poor Nick C was just an honest townsfolk. The town showed him no mercy. Grant slid one bead back to it’s original place.
The morning was bittersweet. The excitement of the demise of Tilly Devine was quelled by the devastating news that the sudden hero, Detective Lillian Armfield, had also been sent to meet her maker.
Sydney had an immediate target. Cody was new to the city. Nobody knew what to make of him, so nobody trusted him. He would go about his days, pleasant enough, though always working through the nights and sleeping most of the days.
Cody had raised Nick K’s name the previous day at a most inappropriate time. Some people mentioned a curious exchange between Cody and Tilly prior to her being revealed as a razor gang leader. Cody was called out for questioning.
There were protestations of innocence. He pleaded that his unfamiliarity in his new city doesn’t make him a criminal. It wasn’t enough for a traumatised population. Sydney wasn’t going to leave things to chance today. Where previous days turmoil lead to a mass of people facing accusations, today the citizens stood more united than ever.
Cody was not allowed to leave. He was approached by Britin, a local bear enthusiast, who put it to Cody, “If you’re not guilty, then who is?”. Cody pointed to Melissa, a pregnant woman; and she also became a target. It was noted that Melissa had been unusually quiet of recent times. Her dealings with people had been curt and her mind often preoccupied. The normal clamouring of an unsettled crowd continued throughout the day. There was palpable frustration toward certain citizens who appeared to be blasรฉ with their attitude in dealing with a city in such disorder. But the Sydney collective kept focus on Cody and Melissa.
In the end, the waning fighting spirit Cody had left in him gave way to the mounting pressure and frenzy of the mob. He was lynched at the steps of Town Hall. Cody was an innocent townsfolk just trying to make his way in a new city.
As the streets began to empty and dusk faded into night, a policeman started his nightshift with a quiet routine patrol through Hyde Park. He had a spring in his step, and so seemingly excited by his thoughts that he didn’t notice the silent figures that emerged from the great shadow beneath the grand Moreton Bay Fig trees. The policeman was jumped from behind and thrown face down onto the ground, where he was pinned by more than one assailant. A woman’s voice demanded, “Search him”. Papers were found on his person with written reports of three people of interest, each stamped with “guilty” or “not guilty”. The woman spoke again, “Give me the blade”.
Those were the last words that Allan heard. His body was found the next morning, with horrific razor wounds, in a cold sticky pool of his own blood.
The new day dawned quickly. The word of Nicole’s attack spread fast. Rather than intimidate the townsfolk, the mafia only stoked the fire within. The city was immediately on it’s front foot.
Kyle pointed the first finger. Local statistician and abacus maker, Grant, was summoned for questioning. Yesterday, Grant had pointed out that criminals are more likely to be born in November and therefore Jake, as a Scorpio, was in his sights. Kyle suggested that Grant expand on his suspicions of Jake. A local journalist recorded their exchange:
Grant: Nar Kyle: Yeah Grant: Nah Kyle: Yeah Grant: Nah Kyle: Yeah Grant: You can’t keep asking the same question and expect a different answer Kyle: Yeah Grant: Take a look at the abacus, mate, the data is all there. Didn’t you single out poor Nicole at Town Hall yesterday, anyway? Kyle: Yeah, nar. It’s you today, MATE!
Tara, a softly spoken woman, interjected.
Grant: Can’t ‘earya, speak up!
Tara instead wrote on a small pad and passed it to Grant: “I agree with Kyle. Your argument is known as ‘gambler’s fallacy'”.
Grant smirked and wrote back: “It’s spelled phallacy”
Others looked on at the bizarre exchange. Multiple eyes twitched.
Bedlam quickly took hold of William St once again. Nobody was safe from the finger.
Nick K, Jewls, Melissa, Tara, Allan and Brianna each denied, brushed off or oddly encouraged the accusations.
What an absolute mess.
The city needed straightening. Just as all confidence seemed lost, a voice was heard above all others. “SCREW IT!”, and Jake made his way to the front of the crowd. As he removed his hat and sunglasses, gasps were heard and Jake spoke:
“Oh HAAAAIIIII SYDNEY! Super excited to finally share ma lil secret with you all. My name’s not actually Jake. I am Lillian Armfield, undercover female detective – first in Australia in fact :’)”
“I was born on December 3”, Lillian looked at Grant, “I’m a Sagittarius”.
“Jus wanna let you all know that I’m not the only one who’s been going under a psuedonym. My investigations have uncovered A RAT among us. Spell it backwards peoples – TARA! Tara is literally THE WORST WOMAN IN SYDNEY – TILLY DEVINE!”
The woman known as Tara utters a nervous laugh. She claims she has been framed! She is inno!
Cody interrupts this incredible revelation. “It’s you, Nick K! I feel you!”
Lillian walked right up to Tara. With their eyes intensely locked, the detective said, โLook at me. I did this to you. Remember me.โ
“FLUFFING FRAMED!” were the woman known as Tara’s last words. She was lynched by the mob.
“Tara” was indeed Matilda Devine. Sly grogger, Madame of many brothels, and the Queen of Woolloomooloo.
Lillian, satisfied with her work, made her way out of the rapturous crowd, before turning to acknowledge a voice behind her.
“Looking fabulous, Miss Armfield”. The voice was of Nick C. He smiled admiringly at the detective.
Lillian smiled back, “Oh stahhhp!”. Then she left for home and a well earned rest.
The city also rested that night. After the buzzing highs of the day came a great calm.
But this still young city carried the naivety of it’s personified youth. The gangs cannot be stopped by the death of one of their leaders. Especially of a leader so firmly established in Sydney’s underworld. Tilly had many friends, associates, but most importantly, she had family.
When Tilly’s husband, ‘Big Jim’ Devine, heard of her lynching, a mighty rage took over. Through the Devine’s little razor birds network, he quickly learned of Detective Armfield’s residence. Big Jim took off without a moment’s hesitation. He refused all company and made his way through the streets as an intimidating force of nature. He arrived at Armfield’s cottage on the nothern side of Lewisham.
Expecting backlash, Lillian’s cottage was guarded with sentries from the police department. They spotted the approaching hulk of a man, who made no effort to hide himself. Though they were four and he was one, they stood no match against his immense brute strength. Their crumpled bodies lay strewn across the cottage yard. Big Jim entered the house and murdered Lillian Armfield with his great big bare hands.
HEADLINE: Prostitutes and Mormons and bears, oh my!
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Uncle Isaac was right. The fear and madness that has enveloped the streets of Sydney, caused by Tilly Devine and Kate Leigh’s notorious razor gangs, has given rise to a Sydney population who is fed up!
No longer will the innocent cower behind conveniently placed empty wine barrels and wooden crates when glints of light flash from exposed razor blades. A fire has been lit within the hearts of Sydneysiders. They are taking to the streets in force as a rowdy, rabid rabble!
Amidst the pandemonium as the mob reaches fever pitch, a touring circus arrives in town. A grizzly bear waves at the townsfolk as they crowd it’s cage. A mustached lady catches the eye of a faired haired Sydneysider and she shudders. The newly arrived Mormons from America and the city’s daytime social lepers, the prostitutes, watch on from a disconnected distance.
The mob reaches Town Hall and accusations are thrown left, right and centre. Sydneysiders Grant, Kyle, Nicole, Tara, Jasper and Jake are all attacked. Amazing scenes! The raging city has lost the plot! Jasper and Nicole are pulled out of the crowd and questioned. Nicole gave as much as she received but Jasper’s pose fell limp as suspicions surrounding him became overwhelming.
Jasper was lynched by the mob. After the dust had settled, and calm came over Sydney again, there were no links to the mafia to be found to tie him to them. Jasper was a sweet innocent townsfolk who, even amongst the unjustified hate and violence aim toward himself, refused to point a finger at any other fellow Sydneysider even if it may hsvd helped to save himself from lynching. The city he loved so much was in the end the death of him.
As night fell and the crowd had long dispersed to return to their homes, the razor gangs emerged from their speakeasys and brothels once again. In an unusual turn of events, members of the rivalling gangs gathered together. They exuded an air of disconcerting quiet and focus. They put aside their differences and united to work together against the innocent townsfolk.
They crept through the night, making a beeline for a Surry Hills residence. Upon arriving, the silhouette of one gang members grew out of the shadow, illuminated by a nearby street gas lamp. It was gang leader Kate Leigh herself. Her underlings expertly and silently gained access to the terrace residence and they all filed in.
The next morning the body of resident Nicole was found inside of her terrace, after a neighbour noticed her front door ajar. Nicole was an upstanding, innocent citizen of Sydney. She had endured the ordeal of facing the wrath and suspicions of the mob the day before, and met a tragic end in what had been one of the worst days in Sydney’s 135-year history.
Since the announcement of the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in July 1923, many migrants, workers and others moved into the city of Sydney to seek their fortune securing contracts and labour.
For the citizens of Darlinghurst and other inner-city suburbs of Sydney, razor wielding gangsters ruled the dark and dingy streets. They were called razor gangs because of the use of the cut throat razor (a straight shaving blade). It was the weapon of choice, especially after the Pistol Licensing Act of 1927 meant automatic gaol time for anyone caught carrying an unlicensed firearm.
In the pre-depression era, two vice queens, Kate Leigh and Tilly Devine, ruled the Darlinghurst underworld. Their rivalry was infamous, leading to a litany of violent crimes enacted by their razor gangs as each struggled to gain dominance in a world of sly grog, narcotics and prostitution.
The Police Commissioner, James “Jim” Mitchell, enacted different strategies during his reign as Police Chief of the NSW Police. Increasing police numbers, police stations and a series of undercover investigations to end the reign of terror.
PLAYERS
MAXIMUM OF 20 PLAYERS.
Before the game begins, each player will receive a message with roles details and their true identities. You will also be advised of whose side you are on RAZOR GANG or SYDNEY SIDER
Tilly Devine, known as the โQueen of Woolloomoolooโ ran a string of brothels centred around Darlinghurst and Kings Cross, in inner city Sydney.
Was named by local press as the ‘Worst woman in Sydney’, with 79 convictions for such charges as prostitution, offensive behaviour and indecent language. Famously slashed a man across the face with a cut throat razor in a barber shop.
ROLE: Razor Gang Framer
POWER: Has the power to choose one person per night to frame. If that same person is investigated by a cop, their report will come back as that person being guilty. Conspires with other RAZOR GANG on whom to kill in the night phase.
Big JimDevine, husband of Tilly Devine, was an ex-digger who served in WWI before returning to Sydney as a hire-car proprietor and acted as protector, chauffeur and ‘get-away’ man for Tilly’s underworld activities.
He is an aggressive, violent man who is an enforcer and rules with a clenched fist.
ROLE: Razor Gang Strongman
POWER: Once per game, can use his strength to guarantee a successful mafia kill. On this occasion, he cannot be role blocked and Nellie cannot save the victim. Conspires with other RAZOR GANG on whom to kill in the night phase.
Kate Leigh known as the โQueen of Surry Hillsโ, whose main enterprise was the lucrative ‘sly-grog’ trade, induced by six o’clock closing.
From her Surry Hills home she supplied services at extortionate prices including illicit goods and services, including after-hours drinking venues, sly-grog, prostitution, illegal betting and gambling. She often provided bail and alibis for gangsters and racketeers at a price.
ROLE: Razor Gang Queen
POWER: Always returns as INNOCENT on all reports. Conspires with other RAZOR GANG on whom to kill in the night phase.
Norman Bruhn was a Melbourne gangster banished to Sydney by Squizzy Taylor. Planned to take down Kate Leigh, Tilly Devine and Phil the Jew. Wanted to be the KING of Sydney. Set up Kate, Tilly and Phil to think the other was attacking them so he wouldnโt get the blame essentially. Created his own gang and was possibly the first to start using the razor as a weapon in the razor wars.
ROLE: Razor Gang Member
POWER: Visits one person per night; slashes that person with a razor blocking that person from fulfilling their role for that night. Conspires with other RAZOR GANG on whom to kill in the night phase.
Phil Jeff was known as Phil “The Jew”, he ran gambling rings and clubs and also illegal alcohol and dealt in cocaine.
He had dealings with corrupt dentists to purchase their unused cocaine and sell it at a premium on the street. Both Tilly and Kate wanted him dead to take over his business and gain his supply contacts.
ROLE: Razor Gang Observer
POWER:Visits one person per night; learns whether that person is a cop or not and role blocks them. Cannot visit the same person two nights in a row. Conspires with other RAZOR GANG on whom to kill in the night phase.
James “Jim” Mitchell was responsible for many early reforms within the NSW Police Force. He was instrumental in changing policies in particular the Vagrancy Act and initiating major and essential reforms, modernizing his force by increasing the number of police stations in Sydney
ROLE:Cop
POWER:Investigates one person per night and learns their alignment. Under the Criminal Consorting Act if someone else visits that person on the same night, he learns both of their alignment.
Lillian Armfield was one of the first plain-clothes female detectives, exercising the same powers of arrest as male colleagues and working side by side with them in the history of the NSW Police Force. Although her work primarily concerned women and girls; it often led her into cases involving murder, rape, theft, drug-running, the white slave trafficโindeed the whole catalogue of crime.
ROLE: Cop
POWER:Investigates one person per night and learns their role.
Ray Blisset was a member of the NSW Police Force joining in Redfern in 1922 and later in the CIB. Worked as a member of the Criminla Investigation Bureau during the violent razor gang wars in the late 1920’s.
The CIB ran the show. It was rough justice, full of rugby players and tough guys – it was very effective in sending a clear message to criminals.
ROLE: Cop
POWER: Visits one person per night, roughing them up and role blocking them for the night.
Constable Wharton Thompson was a member of the NSW Drug Bureau and CIB. In 1927 legislators passed the Drug Act providing prison terms for simple possession of illicit drugs. To enforce the new law, police formed the Drug Bureau and staffed it with experienced CIB detectives, including Constable Wharton Thompson. They swept the streets, making hundred of arrests of drug dealers and users. However, Thompson was found to be corrupt and giving information to Kate Leigh.
The internal affairs department therefore began feeding him incorrect information to try to get evidence of his association with the razor gangs.
ROLE:Corrupt Cop
POWER:Investigates one person per night but gets opposite information from the Police Department.
Nellie was well known for her beautiful looks, sex appeal and hour-glass figure. Her relationships with gangsters (and their deaths) Frank Green and Guido Calletti, led to her becoming known as โthe Kiss of Death Girlโ.
Initially worked for Tilly Devine as her highest paid prostitute before setting up shop on her own.
ROLE: Prostitute
POWER: Chooses one person per night to entertain. Due to connections with Razor Gang protects that person from any harm and also restricts them from performing any tasks. Can entertain herself also. Cannot visit the same person two nights in a row, including herself.
FRANK “the gunman” GREEN
Frank Green worked as a gun for hire and Tilly used him to protect her brothels in the late 1920s. Green had an explosive temper, not helped by the fact he was an alcoholic and cocaine addict.
Often exploited by Tilly and Jim by doing their dirty work for them with little to no reward. Turned on Tilly in the end and worked for Kate Leigh. Has a razor scar from mouth to ear on the left side of his face.
POWER: Chooses one person per night to visit. Visit has no impact. Wins game if lynched during the day.
All other Sydneysiders only powers is that of their vote and powers of deduction.
The year is 2236 and humans have been settling other planets for over 200 years now. On an outlying moon of Saturn, a colonial settlement known as HYPERION is a direct democracy, in which all eligible citizens have direct participation in the decision making of the REPUBLIC parliament.
Trade talks with the neighboring colony on Enceladus is underway, with delegates representing Hyperion being sent on trade missions to discuss resources, tariffs and trade embargoes. A small band of rebel Hyperions are looking to sabotage the trade talks and overthrow the REPUBLIC parliament, with a goal to create a regime of which, they will have the ultimate power. THE UPRISING
After many delegates were absent during the first nomination of a delegation, the first delegation were forfeited as the MISSION LEADER Jake was not present.
The first delegation as nominated by MISSION LEADER Matthew, surprisingly met with some scepticism resulting in DISAGREEMENT votes from: Jewls stating that “Catherine is sooooooo shady.” and Tara, stating ” I just wanna get a better feel of everyone and not send people we have so little info on who came late”
The FIRST ROUND of talks eventually got underway with a majority vote and saw delegates JAKE, ALISHA and CATHERINE, travel to Enceladus and return triumphant, securing fuel supplies from radioactive isotopes of aluminium, iron and manganese.
The SECOND ROUND of talks focused on the securing of ice and water for the colony. Enceladus is the sixth-largest moon of Saturn is mostly covered by fresh, clean ice, making it one of the most abundant sources nearby.
Unfortunately the delegation of KYLE, MATTHEW, CATHERINE and NICOLE as nominated by Catherine was unsuccessful and the presence of REBELS were definitely fighting against the good cause.
During nominations Jake disagreed with the delegation chosen due to wanting to ” decline a few rounds to see who agrees/ disagrees and potentially sniff out a few allegiances. “, while Tara also disagreed stating that “This round feels more weighted.”
The THIRD ROUND of trade talks, which would be the last for this HYPERION orbit, was allocated to securing organic molecules such as methane, propane and acetylene which are carbon-bearing molecules for hydroponic food production.
MISSION LEADER Allan, nominated himself to lead from the front with JEWLS, GEMMA and TARA. A majority ruled that the delegation was accepted with only some disagreement from Alisha stating that Jewls was super suspicious in her mind.
The delegation returned from Enceladus UNSUCCESSFUL with questions about REBEL influence in sabotaging the diplomatic process.
ROUND FOUR of trade talks took place after the next orbit as the colony got closer to our own orbit. However it was in darkness due to the eclipse of Saturn on Enceladus. A REBEL member was identified during the eclipse, that being CATHERINE and was banished from the colony.
TARA was strangely absent from the delegation conference and was sorely missed.
After long deliberation and 3 failed votes for delegates a mission team was finally chosen and JEWLS, KYLE, NICOLE, GEMMA and ALLAN. The SUCCESSFUL talks secured an agreement for technology sharing between the two colonies which shall ensure the continuing prosperity in that regard.
However, with 2 successful talks and 2 that had broken down, the last ROUND was imperative for an overall SUCCESSFUL mission. The lifting of trade embargoes was the single most important part of the diplomatic discussions and a delegation consisting of JEWLS, KYLE, ALLAN, GEMMA and NICOLE was met with some opposition from ALISHA and JAKE.
The delegation was finally accepted and was transported to Enceladus late in the evening. After dining with members of the Parliament on Uranian Oysters and Phoeben algal meats, the HYPERIONS were able to successfully sign an agreement.
The party returned to HYPERION to rapturous celebrations! They had successfully secured a long term agreement and had unearthed another REBEL member being TARA. However, once back in the corridors of parliament the REBEL ASSASSIN, later to be identified as ALISHA, fired a shot at THE ORACLE, JEWLS and successfully assassinated her, getting a win for the REBELS!
THE REBELS WIN!

The death of Oscar by lynching saw the end of the Gaslighter. RIP little buddy, wherever you are, the lights of London are burning a little less brightly now.
With the Gaslighter’s death our Apprentice Criminal is no-longer a wannabe but has received a promotion and has joined the ranks of the Mafia overnight. Where there was for a brief moment in time just the one Mafia left standing, now there are two.
By way of showing that they were no longer an apprentice, this new Mafia went out on a kill order on their first night! Poor innocent Miss Tara had no idea that someone was coming for her. Why would she, as she was nothing more than a normal London villager.
Finally, about that cat… The Cat Lady‘s kitty went out on a visit and was welcomed in to a nice warm home. It returned to its master in the morning, with no details of the person it had spent the evening with.
ADDENDUM:
For absolute clarification, please note the uppercase outcomes.
Friendly London Bobby visited someone The Cat Ladyโs cat had visited, discovering also that they are a townie only.
Sherlock investigated someone overnight.
New Mafia retains their ability from being Apprentice Criminal in being able to investigate someone overnight and carried out that task, as well as carrying out the hit on a townie last night.
NO LYNCH – 29/06/1896 – 8PM – For the first time in history, there was not lynching carried out in the town square due to a split vote when it came time to decide who looked more guilty, Oscar or Kyle X. Both gentleman let out a huge sigh of relief to discover that they had been spared due to the tied vote. The Judge’s vote tipped the draw, but was it for the best for the Town or better for Mafia? Only time will tell.
BOBBY THE FRIENDLY COP – 29/06/1896 – 8:30PM : The notoriously chatty Friendly Cop went to visit a local citizen, taking a favorite tea and some scones to share as they sat talking for the evening. The poor citizen had other places to be yet our obtuse Cop did not notice the constant checking of the clock or the fidgeting of their host, so continued chatting away blissfully without a care in the world. Some hours later when the good Cop bid farewell to their host, they walked away with a smile on their face and quiet muttered the word “Gotcha” quietly to themselves.
CAT LADY’S MISSING CAT – 30/06/1896 – The Cat Lady was seen outside her London townhouse quietly calling for her cat to come home from its nightly wanderings, but to no avail. The rather lucky cat had found a welcome warm spot in someone’s house and, as single minded as cat’s tend to be, decided it was quite comfortable, thank you very much, and had no intention on going back outside in to the cold night. Said cat walked in the back door of its owners house this morning, headed straight to its milk bowl and started lapping up some milk, with barely a glance at the poor Cat Lady who had been worried all night. Cat Lady, although kept in the dark as to where her kitty had been all night, was relieved to have her kitten back home safely.
PEACEFUL NIGHTS SLEEP – 30/06/1986 – With the rising of the sun this morning there was a friendlier feel to the city, a calmer and less pensive air. For the second time this week there were no overnight killings from Mafia activity. The Cops had done their jobs well and were able to corral gangsters for at least one night.
LET THERE BE LIGHT!
We are happy to report that the streets of London were slightly more illiminated last evening as the Gaslighters were out in force lighting lamps for the dusty streets of London town.
DEATH BY LYNCHING – 28/06/1896 There was a public hanging in the town suuare yesterday of Londoner Michelle. The poor woman had been having a bad two days after having visited an ill Londoner and then being quaratined herself to help stave off the dreaded disease. But whilst this may have saved herself from getting sick, it didnt help this Mafia member from being lynched!
WHAT’S UP, PUSSYCAT? – 28/06/1896 – 11:35PM — The local celebrity cat made their usual pilgrimage to a neighbourhood house, this time selecting to visit one particular neighbour, but in a case of bad timing the chosen neighbour was rushing out their door as the cat arrived and only had time to bend down, give it a scratch under its chin before closing the front door on their way out and down the front steps to a waiting hackney carriage.
REPORT OF AN EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT TO A SLAYING A witness reports to have seen their neighbour the house next door and enter a waiting hackney carriage. A local utility worker who drives cabs of a late evening, had held the door open and closed it after their passenger entered. Then, strangely, stood with arms crossed leaning with their back to the cab door. Although there were noises coming from within the cab the driver ignored them until silence fell again. After a tap on the cab door, they driver opened the door to let their second passenger out and motioned for them leave. A figure was seen jumping down from the cab and racing off down the street almost tripping over a cat as they went. The body of the Good Doctor was found in the carriage, having been stabbed to death. Doctor Alisha appeared to have been on her way to make a house call as a medical bag was found next to the body. It is a shame that the Good Doctor hadn’t taken action to save herself, or that there is no-one else that could have saved her from what appears to have been a Mafia hit.
THE PUBLIC HAVE SPOKEN – 28/06/1896 – 10:55PM – The citizens of London are breathing a little easier with the announcement that a well known mobster, Calvin, was lynched on this day, delivering a public warning to all other mobsters that the good people of London and the Cops that protect them, are hitting back and making a difference.
CATS, DOCTORS AND SMALL TIME CRIMS – 27/06/1896 – The infamous Cat Lady of London has a very grumpy cat who was once again turned away by yet another neighbour. The cat was none too happy with this new rebuff and could only be coaxed to come back inside with the lure of a tin of sardines.
The local doctor enjoyed a quiet evening at home, with a much needed early night to bed. The lack of social interaction would not be something reported upon in The Blotter, yet as it was such an unusually quiet night on the streets of London a night at home, much less the opportunity to go to sleep early and to sleep through the night, is in fact highly newsworthy. As the lamplights on the street had not been lit last evening, a night at home may also have been a far better option than being out on the dim streets of the city.
A few blocks away, however, from where the good doctor was peacefully slumbering a not so nimble fingered pick pocket was surprised by the quicker hands of the Londoner they had bumped into outside of a local tavern. Our apparent criminal in training had hoped to lift a nice fat wallet, but instead came face to face with a member of the Mafia who had caught them in the act. This small time crim should place a bet at Ascott for the apparent good luck they have about them. They are on their way to being able to join the big league if they happen to make other connections with more mobsters over the coming days.
LYNCHING IN THE SQUARE – 27/06/1896 – It is with sadness that we report the lynching by mob frenzy of Jasper, a nice man, a kind soul and a true gentleman. In his day job Jasper was a Scotland Yard Detective just starting out in his duties, his life was cut short far too early in this game of life. His loss will be felt deeply by all of London.
CUPPA TEA, GOV’? – 27/06/1896 @ 9PM our Friendly London Bobby decided to pay an impromptu call on another citizen resulting in much conversation and much consumption of tea. I am sure that the citizen our wonderful Bobby visited was most pleased for the company.
HOUSE CALL FOR THE DISEASED AND DYING – 27/06-1896 @ 10.49PM A local doctor called upon a certain address thinking the resident was in need of their assistance, but it would appear the good doctor had mistakenly gone to the wrong house. Three doors away a Londoner known to have been struck down with cholera was in fact the one in need of urgent medical assistance! Brianna was dealt a killing blow, succumbing to a fatal shot. A shadowy figure was seen disappearing down a side street. It would be hoped that they hadn’t spent too much time in Ms Brianna’s company given the severity of the disease. We would suggest that they will require 24-hours quarantine away from everyone else so as not to spread the disease and to give time to recuperate fully.
A CAT’S MIDNIGHT STROLL – 27/06/1896 @ 11.59pm in a mid-class area of London, a local identity affectionately known as The Cat Lady let their adventurous feline out for a late night wander. Neighbours in the area are accustomed to receiving a notorious nocturnal furry visitor pawing at a door or window. Some allow the kitten in for a late night snack, whilst others shoo kitty on way home. From what we are told, this visit was not at all welcomed, sending the by now disgruntled kitten back home to its owner sans itโs usual mooted snack.
No cryptic clues, no write ups full of red herrings, just the facts, the accusations, the finger pointing, public lynchings and general chaos.
LONDON 1896
Set in the year 1896. London is the capital of the largest empire the world has ever known โ and it is infamously filthy. It has choking, sooty fogs; the Thames River is thick with human sewage; and the streets are covered with mud and horse manure. Along with the cesspools that will define the Victorian era, small time criminals and subsequent organized crime run rampant.
The devoted Officers from Scotland Yard serve Queen Victoria and the British Law with great pride. However, prostitution is rife, the serial killings of Jack the Ripper fresh in the minds of Londoners and with the public hanging of the infamous Amelia Dyer is due tomorrow, the streets need a good sanitising in preparation for the dawn of a new century!

Welcome to Hunger Games, Season 6. For those tributes chosen to represent their district, if you have any questions, please ask in your Host Chat.
The last TWO players remaining in the game will enter a final battle room where you will face off in a final battle series for the crown of Hunger Games S6.
The game will end when there is ONE tribute left standing in the Arena and they will be crowned Hunger Games S6 Champion.
Format
Each phase (Day) will start at 7:30pm and end at 10pm AEST, unless otherwise specified.
In each phase (Day) you will have to submit a Movement form, a Battle Orders form, and will have the option to also submit an Item Usage form, each is due by 10:30pm that same night.
You may submit your forms at any time throughout the Day phase before 10:30pm, but once submitted they cannot be changed or substituted for updated orders.
The Arena
The arena is made up of a 7 x 7 grid.
Movement
1 โ Movement Orders are submitted via a specific form each night. (NOTE: There is an example and full explanation in the form)
2 โ Each Movement consists of three moves (steps) on the arena (grid), unless Hosts specifies otherwise.
3 โ Each individual step may only be taken in a single direction, either: North, South, East or West.
4 โ There are NO diagonal moves such as south-east, north-west.
Example:
If you wish to move northward you may select to move in this combination:
First Step โ North
Second Step โ West
Third Step โ North
The Movement Order example above would have you moving one tile up, one tile to the left and another tile up.
There is an Electric fence surrounding the area, if you walk into the fence you will get stunned and receive random moves for that particular Phase (Day) and will also lose 1-HP (health point)
Your grid position may be found on your player profile (top left corner) posted to your Host chat. This will be the only place the Hosts will help remind you of where you are in The Arena.
Battles
If your movements have you stopping on a tile where another tribute has also landed, you will be pitted in battle against one another.
If there are only two of you on the tile, you will have one battle. If there are five Tributes on the same tile, you will have five battles.
Each Battle Form will carry a battle code (the Day and your Grid Reference in the Arena), your name, the name of the player you are battling and how you wish to battle in the six bouts that make up a battle round.
You will commence Hunger Games with 15 Battle Points (15 BP). If you come across and pick up a weapon within the Arena, that weaponโs strength will be added to your BP score (+1BP or +3BP etc depending on weapon strength). If you battle other tributes and you win, you will also gain +1BP for each battle you win, making you stronger for the next battle.
No additional BP is awarded in a tied battle, it is effectively a neutral result.
How to battle
A battle with another tribute is made up of six bouts or rounds. Each player starts the games with 15 battle points (BP). Using your 15 BP you need to nominate how many points you will use in each of the six bouts. You must split your 15 Battle Points across the six bouts by use of any numbers between 0 โ 15.
Each of the six bouts in the battle carry points for winning. The player who earns the most points across the six bouts will win the battle.
Around the arena are various weapons, as you come across a weapon, your current weapon will be upgraded to the next weapon and you will gain +1BP. You can only hold ONE weapon at a time.
Weapons cannot be passed from one player to another.
Communications
During the course of this game you cannot make any private chats nor communicate to somebody about the game outside the specific game chats. This includes your district partner, unless you are sharing the same tile.
Each player will also have a direct chat that includes both the game Host and Caesar Flickerman in order to be able to ask questions directly and to be informed of your battle results and who you will be battling next.
Each district partnership will have use of a telephone for ONE call throughout the game.
The Arena
The arena is made up of a 7 x 7ย grid map where the numbers run down the left margin and letters across the top margin. (NB: References are always given with the Letter column first and the Number row second. eg. A1, B3 etc.)

Sheriff John Behan and his deputies attended a dwelling on Fremont Street this morning after a report that an intruder had murdered the occupant. The resident was identified as Morgan Earp, Tombstone Deputy Marshall.
The Deputy Marshall returned from escorting a fellow, before being confronted in their dwelling. The popular man was shot three times and left in a pool of blood. It comes as his brother Wyatt Earp has declared that he will hunt the perpetrator down like a dog.

The infamous gunfighter Billy the Kid was confronted in Hafford’s saloon last night. Hotel owner Mark, as Roderick Hafford, identified the outlaw drinking in his saloon.
One witness remarked that he “confronted him as he sat quietly in a corner of the main room.” The kid rose to his feet, when Hafford drew his gun. The old Schofield revolver was cocked and loaded. It seemed Roderick was hell bent on claiming the $5,000 reward. The businessman was shot three times in his own saloon lounge, by three shots from the kid’s McFarlan pistol.
Hafford will be buried at Boothill Cemetery this morning.
TOMBSTONE -Sheriff John Behan announced today that he was close to identifying the two men who conspired to organise a robbery under arms of the Wells Fargo stage, which was performed, and subsequently arrested, by Harry Head, Luther King, Jim Crane and Bill Leonard.

The same witness also stated that he was present outside the Grand Hotel when Big Nose Kate had ridiculed one of the towns deputy Marshall’s for “talking him into it”. Referring to her partners involvement.
Sheriff Behan suspects arrest within the next few days.

TOMBSTONE -Sheriff John Behan announced today that he had brought two men into the courthouse today for questioning regarding the conspiracy to rob the Wells Fargo stage on March 15th.
The partner of Big Nose Kate of the Grand Hotel, was questioned regarding the conflicting alibi that was recorded. His partner had indicated that they were travelling with another man to Bisbee on the morning of the robbery, when in actual fact he was seen outside the Grand Hotel mounting a horse that had just been prepared for him on a prospecting exercise with another local man.
TOWN DUEL – At sunset yesterday evening, two locals sort to settle a score that had befallen upon them regarding the suspicion of being of questionable character and intent.
Using registered weapons supplied by Spangenburg’s gun shop, the two gunfighters Melissa and Britin, drew a crowd as they sought to settle their score.
On the Sheriff’s mark of “Fire at will”, a loud distant gunshot rang out through the streets from afar. A sharpshooters bullet soared through the dusty air and impacted the hand of Melissa, sending their weapon flying. The three shots from Britin’s peacemaker impacted into Melissa killing them instantly.
Townsfolk stood with mouths ajar as the dead man was revealed to be local ranch owner Frank McLaury. The man also wanted for questioning in relation to the conspiracy of the Wells Fargo Stage robbery last fortnight.

Sheriff John Behan was seen in town today questioning business owners regarding the recent stage coach robbery. Witnesses say he had questioned several people including:
Samuel Hart, the gunsmith at Harts Gun shop,
William Brocius a local Cattleman and;
Kate Horony-Cummings of the Grand Hotel.
Samuel Hart stated that “his establishment would never sell guns to townsfolk without the appropriate licenses and notifying sales to the county register”.
William Brocius stated that he “on the morning of the robbery I was at The Crystal palace saloon having a late breakfast after sleeping in”
Kate Horony-Cummings stated that her and her partner were “returning from Bisbee on a stage coach that morning after spending three days away from Tombstone.”
Behan also said that documents obtained by the Arizona Stage & Mail Company suggested that the stranger that had come into town on the stagecoach from Tucson three days prior to the Wells Fargo attempted robbery, was in fact a man by the name of Harry Head (aka “The Kid”) out of Contention City. The man has booked into the Grand Hotel for the night.
Investigations continue.
TOMBSTONE – A murder occurred overnight in Dwelling #10 on Sixth Street, when a local man was found shot dead in the doorway of his small house.

The single male occupant identified as local ranch hand and blacksmith Ike Clanton, was found dead from a single gun shot wound to the abdomen. The man is said to be a cattle rustler and suspected outlaw. He had been criminally indicted for felon, but has never been convicted by a jury.
Sheriff John Behan attended the scene today with deputies, and also US Marshall Virgil Earp.
The US Marshall was not on active duty in the town last night due to unforseen circumstances, but when questioned by reporters, he said that he would ensure that his deputies and the Sheriff’s department were committed to enforcing state and federal laws.
Reporters also asked Mr Earp for a comment on the nature of the relationship between his younger brother Wyatt and the dead man, to which he declined to comment.
The investigation into the death continues and is not thought to be related to the March 15th Wells Fargo stagecoach robbery at .
Tombstone – Justice Wells Spicer has declared that the recent duels in Tombstone, while not in the spirit of our city by-laws, it is part of our constitutional rights as Americans to bear arms. As part of The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution, the amendment protects the individual right to keep and bear arms in our fair country.
Meanwhile at sunset yesterday evening, two locals sort to settle a score that had befallen upon the two parties regarding the matter of questionable character and intent.
Using registered weapons supplied by Spangenburg’s gun shop, the two gunfighters Jewls and Allan, drew a crowd as they settled their score. On the Sheriff’s mark of “Fire at will”, Allan drew first with a Remington Hammersmith, and had shot at rapid speed. He had, landed three quick shots to the right side of the torsoof Jewls, before she had managed to fire the first shot.
Whilst Jewl’s three shots were very accurate, they were ineffective as she slumped to the ground suffering major upper abdominal trauma and was left to slowly die as her lifeblood drained from her body. The Undertaker was called to take away her body and prepare it for the coroner before being transferred to Boothill, but the undertakers business was closed. The coroner later revealing the identity of the slain gunfighter as Andrew Ritter, town Undertaker and valued townsfolk member.
TOMBSTONE COURTHOUSE – A motion has been put forward to the court, by the residential committee of the Third Ward to document an agreed practice for the undertaking of duels. Whilst the allocation of weapons would be controlled by one of the two gunsmiths in town, the motion stated that a challenge should be leveled at their accusers, not the co-accused. Judge Spicer has decreed to amend the law to reflect this proposed change. It will take effect on March 29th 1881. (2 days game time)
